Cobus Loots, CEO of Pan African Resources, on delivering sector-leading returns for shareholders. Watch the video here.
No it doesn't thrive on news!!! When was the last time this thrived on news. I know I moan, but some of the things said here baffle me. On recent record news is to be avoided at all costs.
Make your mind up Bushy. Yesterday you reminded me I didn't run the company, today your asking me what I'm going to do about their policies. Which is it?
Of course it's about being ran better. Even well ran efficient companies want to be better ran. If CiG don't want this ran better then you have to question their motives. If they don't want it ran better, what is the argument for keeping DB and Co. I've yet to hear a positive argument for keeping him, but I bet CiG do.
Well if I had control I'd want it better ran than it as been. I wouldn't want more of the same level of management. If I was in control I'd want better management, I'd think this bloke as had long enough to run it well and hasn't been able. Again arguments for keeping him in control? I've not heard any yet. Company may or may not perform well shortly, but even if it does start to perform. It's been a shoddy path getting there, not good enough for the future.
Still struggling to find a good argument for keeping him,if you control the company and you want it to do well. What is the argument for keeping him?
This isn't a case of a company struggling at the moment. This is a case of continuous failure over a decent period of time. There is no case for keeping him.
It's nice to have belief. People have believed in this company coming good for a long time, just remind me when they actually have come good. If this company had any history of coming good it wouldn't be langering at the pathetic sp it is at the moment. If anyone is serious about this doing well, he as to go. What's all this nonsense about the difficulties in Africa? Of course its difficult, good well ran companies overcome difficulties, Hummingbird clearly doesn't. I don't blame you for keeping your belief, but if you back it up with money your a bigger clown than me. Tell me the sense in not replacing poor management.
Well all I know if I controlled it, and I wanted success, he would be out ASAP. If they keep him it seems they have an agenda that doesn't include results improving.
I'm not convinced how serious CiG are about wanting this to succeed. Surely if you have a controlling interest and you want success, you get rid of those who failed in the past. So is it just some kind of tax write off, or do they want more failures so they can buy the lot for next to nothing? Surely if you want success, you replace Betts and get someone effective in.
Isn't this afternoons (annoying) drop due to the US inflation rise?
It's not a few weeks till we know if they can deliver or not, we know now. They can't deliver, when have they ever delivered. They open mines pretty well, but the loose money. If you are expecting them to deliver performance you are on a fools mission.
How soon then Lew?? Tell us when £20 says not in the next 6 months.
A good idea for most, for my size of investment probably more trouble than its worth, so I'll just watch and see, cheer myself up with the occasional moan and hope for the best.
My investment here is small (however you still want to win not loose) so I could afford reluctantly to loose the lot, so I will never sell till I'm in profit, which is around 16p . Then it would depend if it just limped to 16p.on rumours I will sell, if its climbing well on the back of something genuine I'll hang on. See which way the wind blows. To me this was never a place to put a lot of money, its a punt.
You can't assume one site is right and the other is wrong because actually you don't know for sure which is right. It's not negative to way up the options. However if you want negative. No of course I didn't buy anymore. What I've learned is you have to he stupid to listen to the rampers here. I've learnt I was wrong to invest here and would be a total prat to put another penny in at any price.
Or the other site is wrong.
It's possibly debatable that the predicted disasters haven't happened, what's not debatable is none of the wonderful advantages predicted have happened, also little doubt GB as moved as moved backwards since Brexit not foward, even in comparison to our also declining neighbours.
Must be lovely to live in a dream world, optimistically ignoring reality.
bound be a few snags??? these have been at it for ages and have had nothing but snags, even the law of averages say you should get a few things right occasionally, and they can't even match that,it's been years of under achievement, not a few snags, are you invested? do you know anything about the results this company as produced? it's not a few snags, it's consistent **** ups.
£3 Would require a 20% increase next year. I can't believe in that. I think up is likely over next year, big worry is all the crap that's likely to come to light after the election, plus World events. However I see this up a year from now.
