Bushy is as usual totally wrong. In the unlikely event of us ever having a good quarter, that will certainly help keep the wolves from the door a little longer, but it won't do very much for the sp. After all this lengthy failure they need to prove they can sustain it before, new and meaningful buying happens here,a flash in the pan won't put right all past failures. They need a string of good performance, and unless this new guy is very good very quickly, that won't happen.

I took a slating earlier this year when I argued the increased gold price would have no positive effects on the sp,turned out I was right. The level of inefficiency here went up at the same time as the gold price went up,net results? Lower sp,and that will continue, its efficiency we need not record gold prices. Only caveat to that,God knows where we would be without this gold price. Dead I think.

We had a bit of a Santa Rally last year, which actually made it a decent year here, but I'm not feeling it this year, can't see it happening this year unless something in the budget benefits.

No it's not an accurate assessment, why does everyone think you need vast knowledge to know a good investment, its not an ego trip,I'm making more in my bank account than I am here,that's all the knowledge I need, same as last year that's a poor investment, better in the bank. I have easyjet shares that out perform the bank, the are a good investment. You don't need to be a genuis are some self congratulating egotistit to see your money as gone nowhere .

Well I didn't say it was uneconomical, I'm just following the argument through. I can see the logic of cross the teas argument, but surely that means someone would be buying it as a long term gamble,rather than a near term profitable operation, which surely brings the purchase price down.

Just for information, who is expecting a strong performance in the last quarter? I'm not I'm expecting continued inefficiency unless the new guy can work miracles at breakneck speed.

They haven't hired someone to show them how to do it because they are doing a good job themselves, why add to your costs? They hired him because they can't make it work.

Why don't all the rampers have the self confidence to say they got it wrong? I would love this to be fly up today rather than plummeting, and I've happily taken the stick and said I was wrong. I've been wrong before, so why are you afraid to say you called it wrong,are you that weak and fragile?
