Anyway just hoping this is the last of the hot money departing with announcements on their way? Ok way to hopeful!

Happily bug oil and big gas have lots of troubles sorting out their historical poor decisions elsewhere and so are not in the market to go shopping.

Hopefully TXP will be £3 before potential acquirers start to go shopping for anything beyond bankrupt partner assets.

Sadly for him the price difference is a function of a new management coming in an sorting out a dying company and focusing it on growth through revenue.

It happens a lot less than we as shareholders hope and when it does it’s a Surprising and often painful thing for those historic holders who suffered losses at the hands of a bumbling or worse management.

It’s worth remembering that this company floated with a market cap around €35m and a much smaller share base. On 0.67p Friday’s mid market closing the market cap is under £29m after recently trebling. There must be a lot of irritated ex holders out there.

The other issue for solar is that there are currently no abandonment provisions in the budget. It’s all set up as if it will last indefinitely which isn’t the case and when decommissioning is started it will be expensive as solar panels are a ****tail of exotic metals most of which are not something you want in a landfill.

Windmill abandonment costs will be much less complicated and are likely to be covered by efficiency gains.

Anyway it all bodes well for EQT with its avoidance of landfill costs and taxes.

What would be very interesting is what are the economics of EQT’s technology. Is it a waste reduction technology with some economic benefits from the syngas or is it a commercial proposition based on low cost waste inputs?

Either way it will prosper but if it’s a commercial stand alone solution without the need for subsidies then it will fly once the first project is implemented.

The North Fork project is anchored on them having a contract to sell electricity at $199.72 per MWhour which is a very highly subsidies price.

The central aim of the project and they are looking to do another 15 similar in the state is to manage lumber waste wood and historic waste wood in California. Apparently shutting down huge areas of the state due to forest fires is something it’s worth paying to avoid.

Bodes well for Eqtec once this project is online next year.

The days of easy massive volumes are probably over with the exit of those two exiting disclosable holders.

All that is happening is the hot money is leaving for apparently greener more exciting pastures. Once they have departed we should get something on Greece and the next step up in the price.

That was a nice big sale absorbed without too much indigestion based on today’s price movement.

Actually 25% of today’s trade and apparently a sell.

Bodes well that the stock is tightening.

Also the drop in single line rampy posts might suggest the hot money has moved on? And that’s always good news for upward repricing.

No it’s an institutional buyer who has eased back and is hoovering up retail stock. Classic smart buying.

A month ago it used to take 100s of millions of shares to trade to move the share. The stock is up 7% today on just 41m shares or just 0.1% of the shares issued.

This is going to really pop once it’s tight.

Nice idea but it’s not clear there are shorters here? Yesterday there looked to be some traders shorting the spike but as to whether they closed their positions who knows but it didn’t look massive.

Whilst Greece is important contract wise as the EU found out over the last decade Greece dances to its own timescales. So maybe something by the end of September?

As to more likely events, the summer fire season in the US Western states is about to start. That should focus minds on accelerating the pending contract there and put Eqtec’s name forward as part of a “Quick Solution” as the fires this year are going to be difficult given Covid19’s impact on the volunteer fire fighters.
