Yep the 6,000 cu ft to a barrel is correct as an energy multiplier/denominator.

However it’s often used as a “Slight of hand” because on the basis of economics if WTI is $45 and Henry Hub has is $2 then the real difference is WTI divided by 6 Henry Hubs of gas.

Essentially gas being worth just 27% in value for the equivalent Crude energy value.

PB really should stop talking about this in oil barrel equivalents as the price is very wrong and the tax also is different!

This mornings dip didn’t seem to frighten any loose stock.

The recycling continues but it’s moved from the bid to the ask apparently.

There does look like endless lines of stock around any more.

One little concrete announcement required and this is back on the front foot.

Coho is completely separate from the deal with NGC.

The Coho pipeline is being plugged into the Carapel Ridge faculties as it’s next door.

First gas sales in October which should make the FD smile.

Interestingly the volume is coming down on a daily basis so once the overhang has been moved any good news is likely to fire this up sharpish price wise.

The issue is small “Novel” changes that make a material improvement can be patented. But the issuance of a patent in itself doesn’t mean that others also can’t have patents in that area so essentially you get overlapping interests.

One intersting thing is that Eqtec seem to be light on US patents which may well mean that they didn’t want to alert the completion as to engineering directions that worked.

Patent lawyers are expensive so Aries if they persist beyond the “Frightening letter stage” must feel they have a case or possibly are looking to be bought out?

All to complicated for anyone not in the know to work out what is real and what is smoke. But in the last instance it’s a good sign that the technology works well, no one sues on “Crap technology.”

Likely to be a very decent headline price which then means the end customers will be paying a high price. The flip side is the charges for the pipeline are also likely to be high to offset that headline gas figure.

Or they could just install clean Eqtec waste to gas solutions.

Just a small thought on Casadura Deep which they at one point we’re going to possibly call Cascadura East. If that is going to be drilled with an 8,300ft existing discovery target and a 9,500ft deeper target just how wide is the area to be referred to as “East”? It does make you think!

My guess is the broker got 80% of the placing filled with respectable “City Folk.”

But rather than trim back the raise to the natural demand they gave 20% of the placing to grade B and C institutions.

It’s that 20% plus anyone frightened by the drop to 0.35p per shares that have been flooding the market. Also someone seems to have bought a big block following the drop to 0.35p and has since the recovery been happy to sell just above the bid and make 0.05p to 0.10p, sometimes 10m shares which is £5k to £10k per day!

Hopefully all will be washed away in the next few days?

Feels like all the good releases like this morning are currently doing is clearing stale stock holders.

Next time they do a placing they need to be much pickier on which institutions get any stock.

Timelines in the RNS are the telling point.

Looks like the acquistion of Eqtec Spain was a very good move.
