Chip in a decent amount of working capital to fund teams having ongoing discussions about potential projects. That’s the strategy to move EQT from a 3 or 4 Project pipeline to 10-15 projects being looked at.

Also that’s what’s required for the £1bn market cap.

It will clear quick enough and be 0.6p by the end of the month.

Plenty of hungry ESG orientated funds looking for somewhere to park funds and with EQT now being fully loaded with cash for growth they will not be hit for any further cash calls.

This should now fly, with the only disappointment being the starting point is 0.47p bid not 0.57p. Still I topped up at 0.5p and 0.514p yesterday!

Yep it’s been a great day for giving away shareholder value.

Also I wonder if the Nomad is going to check out those big trades after 3pm yesterday which clipped 6 points of the price.

But without the hot money and now fully funded these should fly back to the 0.70p area within two weeks.

Maybe a 100 to 1 consolidation? Please.

In the scheme of things this placing is a good thing and I am just irritated I am maxed out on the funds and in particular I bought more a few days ago at 0.704p!

The only dirty behaviour in this was the resetting of the loans a couple of weeks ago For “Friends” which looks like a very greasy payoff. Hopefully the last?

I think we have just seen the teeth of a Ceo with a VC background.

This company was an R&D company when it floated with overly optimistic views about how long it would take to deliver.

The share price was destroyed over many years burdened by coming to the market to early.

DP who looks like a sharp chap seems to have taken over at the behest of the largest holder but he wouldn’t have done so if this stock wasn’t ready to deliver.

Fingers crossed and hopefully DP wants to take £50m personally off the table on EQT? That would be 25p a share! But maybe not in 2020?

But his options only run to 31st March 2023 so don’t be surprised if he is in a hurry.

Tuckman it’s actually good that these sells are coming through now ahead of any Greek news.

Just think what it might do if the market is nice and tight?

Then chip in a little progress on Billingham and we might see 1.25p-1.5p. Or am I dreaming?

Feels like there is a supply of stock coming to the market, possibly the dregs from our exiting Spanish funds? Maybe.

Anyway if that can be exhausted before the next announcement then we might see some real action here again in the coming days.

Let’s hope any spare stock is gone before the Greek announcement.

As to the actual price movement it looks like it bounced of that 38% retrace on the movement from 0.2p to 0.88p nicely.

And now set to move up once the volume returns?

Until this year EQT was substantially an R&D Company with “Prospects.”

Since the appointment of DP it has substantially moved to being a project development Company leveraging on other people’s manufacturing and delivery, in particular its EPC partners.

That transformation is the reason the price is up 200% and will probably go up a further 200% as it moves to its first financed project RNS.

The time to get on board was 0.2p if you were prepared to take a 100% wipe out risk.

Now the upside is still 200% but with lesser downside. The only issue being the leverage of 0.6p to 1.2p probably isn’t as much fun as 0.2p to 1.2p. But buyers now get to sleep!

That share price discount is basically here because of past failures of the business.

DP has closed the discount substantially of late by sorting out a bunch of overhanging issues relating to debt, company focus and clearing out the previous CEO.

To continue to get this back to a “Fair Value” the next change needed is to see contract wins with a clear path to revenue.

At that point the price will be circa 2p.

So buying now is a punt on DP delivering those contracts. That’s a deal most of us seem to be willing to buy into but until the first of the new contract wins occurs this will remain cheap.

Mind you after a couple of contract wins maybe the fair price might be closer to 5p?
We will see!

This needed a big consolidation with a clear out of the hot players after more than trebling from 0.19p.

All we need now is some revenue orientated news to set the touch paper alight for the second stage of the rocket.
