£23m market cap with £8m in the bank is an absurdly low cap for a clean tech play. Try to double that number and then ask yourself if EQT looks pricey? It doesn’t.

Once the fog clears this will be back towards 0.8p soon enough.

US parents are pretty easy to apply for and obtain but are often unenforceable because the are often Post approval deemed mundane in nature.

There is a whole industry of US law out there making money from both sides and doing so often on third party legal funds who don’t start until companies are worth suing as EQT is post the raising.

I say this as someone who used to “Own” 22.2% of two patents, patents which in the end we’re unenforceable although the lawyers always took “Us” to nice restaurants and talked of “Likely and remain positive.”

It’s one of the reasons I decided long ago that the US was essentially full of “Flim flam” artists from their business laws to it would now appear their highest politicians.

This will all become a dusty note on the balance sheet for years if DP decides not to pay the blackmail money. Although lawyers will cost!

Submitted to the court on the 9th after the UK closed and presumably sent to EQT’s US registered office the next day Friday which at 9am PST is UK BST 5pm so it makes sense that it was checked over the weekend and RNSed on Monday pre market.

Today’s drop probably includes a bunch of peripheral “Institutions” who took fright at the RNS this morning.

That might explain why a further 12.5% to 15% of the shares have been traded today.

That’s not how it works and as to EQT knowing in advance they wouldn’t have because it wasn’t in Aries interest to drop this suit until they knew EQT had cash in the bank.

That suit was probably drafted months ago and they simply waited for DP to complete his clean up and cash raise so they could maximise any “Win” they might achieve.

Most likely they want a a buy out of the company and a cheque for a couple of directors who will resign on any settlement.

Looks like the “Institutional spivs” might have had a bit more stock to sell before they are out. Also a few respectables may have cut and run.

Once that “Trading Fog” has passed we should then see if the patent issue is an anchor.

Until then people are seeing this mornings drop as only about the patents whereas it’s probably 90% short term placees exiting.

The legal issue is annoying but par for the course for successful technologies in the US where vexatious legal claims are just the cost of doing business.

The upside is this should clear out any loose “Institutional” placees who were in this for 10%. They will be gone by 9am!

So a tad painful but overall there are upsides of getting rid of parasites!

Sadly this weeks big dilution has trimmed back “My hopes and dreams” target of 20p eventually to a mere 15p. I was hoping that they would do smaller placings to actual strategic funds not just anyone as happened this week. But hey ho!

Been in since below 0.2p and was looking for that mythical 100 bagger which I now doubt will be achieved. Doubled my holdings around 0.5p this week.

You are wrong sadly I have direct experience as an ex Aim Director. The biggest group of flippers are the niche private client stockbrokers who often use in-house funds to Chanel these activities. And you never know until it’s too late.

Doubt that it will go below 0.45p as the broker is setting his stall out at 0.48p at which he makes a decent turn. Probably happy to wait and just collect his “Free” £300 fees per million sold.

Clearly the company put the stock into “Soft Hands” and will have to wear it until it is done which is probably quite shortly so as to get on the next free money ride next week.

Looks like a broker took hundreds of millions of shares and has been happy to sell them all day at 0.48p ish making £300 per million sold. Very easy money so this stock is probably asleep until they are done.
