Looking at that old press article it’s there was permission to build an incinerator but not much support from the community.

Eqtec’s non incinerator solution is likely to be received much more positively By the planners.

So are there dozens of approvals for incinerator plants who have done much of the early difficult planning work ripe to be taken by the more acceptable face of gasification which doesn’t cause carcinogen pollution?

This could be a fast road for deployment?

Or 4 set like “Pigs in a bay” each likely taking a slightly different type of sorted feed depending on what is being delivered as that changes across the year.

The irony being this plant if it’s built is going on top of the old Shotton Steel works where the blast furnaces where operated in the same way!

At least an Eqtec solution will not pollute the locality like the original plans.

Now post the R&D phase.

After 12 years it’s now there or there abouts in terms of having a product to sell.

Essentially early investors were used but now following the Spanish acquisition and a market that needs these products it’s probably ripe to go.

I reckon a “Friend of the broker” took a lot of stock at sub 0.40p post the placing wobble and has spent everyday since feeding the market as you could virtually buy on the bid at will and in size.

Today’s announcement must go a long way to clearing that position.

Oh and good luck to them and enjoy the champagne, they helped manage and ugly result.

But now for the future?

Nicely cleaned out the weak “Institutions” who carpet bagged in on the placing.

Should now make steady progress in the next week or two, 0.75p?

It has probably provided a bit of retail indigestion as a few souls who bought with borrowed money may have been selling their original holding at these depressed prices.

But that seems to be minor now with small daily volumes teeing this up for a decent move on the next news.

Had a look at their last years accounts which show deteriorating profits year on year. I am guessing the business could be bought on a PE of 3 or 4?

That might be cheaper than buying out their interest in the project as the shareholders get a Capital Gains event rather than just prop up a small business.

Once the stale holders of the placing and a few quick turn merchants have departed.

No doubt DP will then turn back on the promotion machine and recommence his long journey of getting this share up to fair value at around 2p?

But slow and steady from here in as he now has the cash to fund growth and will be busy building the contract pipeline that will turn this from an R&D concept company into an IP driven green energy powerhouse.

One small upside is the legal action dropping the day after the placing means that all the “hot money in for 15% turn” ran for the hills and so won’t be a drag on any gains when they start to come through based on contract wins.

The downside of course is post the placing and subsequent legals the shares started at 0.35p, not the 0.5p point DP would have expected.

On Thursday and Friday it was obvious that stock from the placing was being aggressively recycled at 0.45p. Probably mostly gone by now or at most a few more days. The first uptick on the bid will be telling.

Also it will be interesting to see how long it takes to get back to 0.67p the closing price before the placing. My guess is two to three weeks without news?

Failing business that is now looking to migrate to litigation as a revenue source.

Clearly a lot of stock has become available at just over 0.45p, hundreds of millions possibly? No doubt some “Stag” looking for a quick turn who has since decided to exit at the purchase price plus sundry expenses.

This should be ready to nibble higher once the stock line has gone and there are clearly a lot of buyers. All looking positive after that dismal drop to 0.35p!

The good news is big oil is navel gazing at present trying to sort out its own “Issues” so they probably can’t react quite as quickly as they should.

PB has put Royston on the back burner till next year ostensibly because of access and the rainy season weather but just as likely is that the Cascadura Deep should give him a quick producing result, validate a CPR re field size and bring early cashflow. Doing so may, if Chinook and Cascadura Deep are successful keep the likes of Shell at bay.
