RE: Shareholder value11 Feb 2021 12:30
Fgp has a high level of institutional investors who have to date protected management to some extent. Coast capital own about 13% and tried to garner support last year to change the board unsuccessfully. They did however, it would appear, get enough support to change FGP strategy to sell US assets which Coast had been calling for to release shareholder value. Once the sale(s) have been completed I am convinced the II's will ensure some form of shareholder distribution, be that special dividend and/or share buyback programme. What is clear is they need to tell us what the plan is re debt repayment, shareholder distriburion and planned investment in the remaining road services as soon as possible.
