I believe the lowest points have already passed.

If it was going to delist and dissolve it would have happened by now. It would have happened when compulsory strike off notice or shares suspension due to resignation of Nomad.

There has clearly been an enormous ton of work going on to keep this afloat. Rewind the clock 18 months and this was a decent business proposition just getting stuff together post COVID. Guido came in and had a catastrophic impact on everyone involved - customers, suppliers, shareholders and most importantly employees. Major shareholders have a vested interest in this resurging and are probably shrewd enough to conclude that the damage is reversible.

Is anyone able to identify from an official source who are the current largest shareholders as of today ?

PS Share price has doubled in a week. Literally doubled.

Chances of an RNS dropping?

We won't know anything really until next RNS. Been 6 weeks. All avenues of communication leading to dead ends and no replies at the moment which is not good unless they are intentionally being tight lipped due to important internal discussions.

Sarah is at best a very troubled depressed individual who just needs a bit of love and a hug and some affection. May I suggest a church Sunday group or salvation army for starters?

At worst Sarah actively attempts to deramp and poop on shares in the hope of encouraging people to sell in order to buy up cheaper shares for a short-medium term profit.

Either way I do think Sarah is a very intelligent and witty individual. It would be nice to see Sarah put these talents to some positive use.

Any sign of Valsen? Can we stop the personal insults and get back to concrete discussions on Woodbois please troops.

This touched 0.035 a week ago. Now it is 0.065. There has been no news and no RNS in that time frame that we didn't already know.

What explains the almost doubling in price ? Sarah filling her boots? Poop and scoop?

To me it doesn't make any logical sense for this to still be trading if it was about to be wound up and dissolved. Looks to me like nomad and new CEO are working behind the scenes to get the house in order. I expect something positive soon.

This has basically doubled in the last week on no news at all. Wtf. What if there is good news coming ??? Explains why it's still trading after all the obvious doom and gloom. Good luck all.

No RNS for 6 weeks. Multiple creditors. No contact. Yet the SP is up 25% in a couple of days ? Wtf is going on. Long awaited restructuring news on the horizon or merely a dead cat bounce ? I hope for the former as it seems illogical for the nomad to keep this trading for so long otherwise .

Also the CEO's address is listed as Allenby Capital, the NOMAD which is actually really encouraging and suggests strong efforts on their part to turn this around.

The volume of trading is very low here at the moment. It's been about 6 weeks since an RNS.

What do we think caused the compulsory strike off to be cancelled? A credit objecting perhaps a former employee?

On the other hand, my anonymous inside source on the ground has confirmed that woodbois is very much still operating as a going concern. Workers are working in sawmill and factory as usual.

What the hell is going on? We need an RNS.

If you look on companies house posting for Lucas Kanme's appointment as CEO you will clearly see that his address is listed as the same as Allenby Capital's, the Nominated Adviser. This would lead one to conclude that he has been handpicked by Allenby themselves.

Now who are Allenby exactly ? A very respected industry Nomad who are known for fundraising and turnaround strategies for small cap AIM businesses. Allenby stepped up and rescued Woodbois from Suspension in late 2024.

Now ask yourself why do Allenby continue to support this if it's as doomed and dead as many would have you believe?

Why is there no RNS for over a month ?

Is it maybe just possible that there's something mega going on behind the scenes? There's clearly some sort of turnaround strategy being discussed which can't be made public yet. Another big clue is one of the INEDs being a significant personal shareholder.

I come back to the biological land assets in Gabon which Woodbois have on their latest full AUDITED accounts. Is it possible that the Nomad sees this as chronically oversold and undervalued? Consider that just 2 years ago the SP was over 95% than it is now. Is it possible that it's just indeed been destroyed by disastrous management by Guido? Not the first company he has seemingly run into the ground.

Maybe just maybe there are important figures that realise the untapped massive value here and that operational and managerial issues are to blame for the current debts and failures.

I cling to my gut feeling that this was brought out of suspension and is still trading for a reason.

Poppers gonna poop. Scoopers gonna scoop. I feel there are a few posters here with an agenda to see this sold to as low a level as possible then hoover up.

Do your own research but there is in fact room for cautious optimism. Boom or bust. Next RNS will be very telling. Anything to do with financing, managerial structure or strike off notice being resolved then this will sky rocket.

Found this little snippet from 11th November RNS.

Mr. Roberts holds 30,300,000 ordinary shares in the Company.

Guido Theuns was a director of GBC Suisse AG from September 2021 to February 2022. GBC Suisse AG entered into liquidation in September 2022.

That is really encouraging for shareholders - that one of the Independent Non Executive Directors has a significant vested personal stake in the company. Personally motivated for the company to succeed. Can't believe I previously overlooked this very small important clue.

The story which is unfolding to me is that significant shareholders lost patience with Guido and his catastrophic destruction of the company. Major shareholders still see a future for the project (efforts to restore from suspension and to boot out Guido). I think it's clear Guido walked before he was kicked.

The background research on the new CEO which I've uncovered suggests he specialises in strategic changes and fundraising.

Looks like to me like there might be life in the old dog yet. We won't really know until more information comes to light. The SP could rebound just as fast as it is failing at the moment.

The thrill of this storyline is too exciting. I'm getting back in for a small speculative pint. It's better than any cinema ticket. Who doesn't love a gamble? Some semblance of positive news and 0.0345 will look ridiculously cheap.

It is exactly a month since latest update. 5th February. Absolutely ridiculous.

There's no one left on board of directors who was with woodbois 18 months ago. It's been sold down the river.

Anyone who was anyone associated with this company has seemingly cut all ties to avoid any dramas. It's just independent non executive directors on board of directors (paid) and a new CEO who is probably just some paid hand.

Everyone who was anyone to do with Woodbois when it was a genuine company has bolted over a year ago.

Phone number on website is dead. Former employees have won in tribunals and are owed pay. No one responds on social media. Accounts overdue. Millions of debts to banks. Reputation in tatters. No communication. The train has well and truly left the station.

Absolute miracle if this turns around from here. It's been left to rot. Total mess.

After much research and searching I was finally able to find a footprint of Mr Lucas Kanme, the new CEO online. Many were concerned there was nothing about his background or anything to verify him outside of woodbois.

Publically available information is available on opencorporates showing he was director and secretary of a Cyprus company called Getcoman Trading from 2017-December 2024 which is just before his appointment at Woodbois. A small snippet of encouragement to any remaining holders. Anyone able to find further information as a result of this little chestnut? Thank me as usual, ps Google is effing useless. Getcoman Trading is also available to research on Cyprus Companies house.

The best any holder can hope for now is a dead cat bounce which to be fair does usually happen and is probably likely - any sniff of positive news usually sees a short boost. But this is dead. Even if anyone was genuinely passionate about this business and saw a future it makes no economic sense to invest and need to pay off all the millions of debts when you can wait for bankruptcy/insolvency and buy on the cheap with no one else getting any of the pie. It seems to me that something very elaborate has transpired here. The whole thing absolutely stinks. On investigation some of the Facebook and linkedin profiles of people associated with woodbois look to be fake too. It's very calculated and misleading. Absolute pile of horse manure. A lesson learned.

Sarah is correct unfortunately. they owe millions to banks, salaries to employees, product to customers. They can't even settle £30k unpaid holiday pay to former employees. Shareholders get absolutely nothing and nor should they when employees will likely get nothing too. lesson learned from me giving up the investment game and especially never investing in Africa again - too much risk involved
