moniman, In your post at 9.42 today, you suggest that you have been mistakenly drawn into shares before by people wearing rose tinted glasses, but you ,often say, adyor. so take your own advice on that, & don't blame others. If I had taken your advice to sell vod when the sp was £2, I would be far better off now, (A point I have made many times) But you need to now move on. Just because vod may have been overpriced at £2, doesn't mean it is now at £1.40. Barking woof woof doesn't do your credibility any good. Anyhow, if the pound shop does start selling vod shares anytime soon, I will be the 1st to congratulate you (Trying not to grit my teeth) in the process!

You don't really strike me as a fool, even a motley one, but for every negative vod article from the fools, there are positive ones as well, & all follow with keep reading, & give us your e mail address so they can send details of there financial products. They are simply trying to draw you in to there advertising, which they obviously get paid for. Of course the article may be correct, but you picked it out, as you clearly are wearing the opposite of rose tinted glasses. A more balanced view is what you need in my opinion. However it has become obvious that vod is a risky investment, but with risk hopefully comes high rewards.

Ok, so you correctly predicted the vod fall from £2 to £1.40. What do want? Shall we all tell you how clever you are, give you a lolly pop perhaps. So you now predict a fall to £1.10, If this doesn't happen, then will you come back & admit you where wrong. If you are right, then you can have another lolly pop. You can buy my shares, bargain price, £1.70 .& you get10% cash back. But joking apart, get a cheap broker, & buy at best price. I suggest this site, London south east brokers. Hard to beat. Get an account, & buy at best! But if the sp falls,just don't moan about it, otherwise you can just fuck off!!!!

D.J. The vod share buy back has been explained many times on this forum,& it is completely different to the Standard chartered buy back, so why compare them. You really need to listen to those on here (not me) when they try to explain these things.

Is dadean saying most companies buy back shares when they are expensive? What worries me about vod,buying back shares when they are cheap, is there seems to be an incentive for the sp to fall before buy backs are due, so they can buy back cheaper, but at a big cost to existing share holders. Any thoughts on this please. Ok some may say the market is rigged etc etc etc. I really would like a realistic balanced view on this please. I.E. Not from the cynical moaning morons.

D.J. Much as I love your new found positive attitude, most of the U.S. rise is due to a change in exch rate since the ftse close. $ to £. However, I think, (hope) the vod sp will open, up tomorrow.
