Unfortunately I think this is lights out here

hes not going to buy, hes not going to go over 30% ownership due to takeover rules
hes also not going to be buying or selling small chunks (the odd few million shares here and there) through the traditional market

I don't actually filter anyone - most people here have there own views and opinions whether good or bad
if people posted here were all positive investors, the message board would be full of people congratulating themselves on a great investment with no discussions on anything relevant at all, would be a bit pointless in reality
At least my post should bring some form of discussion people can have views, it would be better if people actually responded with factual based opinions of there own, instead of just saying '1p by christmas (IMHO)' 'AIM company of 2019' etc etc

i'm not a professional and it is more of a hobby - i have done OK at it, nothing major, still working in my main job unfortunately

He will have plenty of money, a lot more than I will ever see, we can agree on that
people just need to get some facts right, especially the basics
I'm not invested, but i am interested in seeing what happens with this type of investor, its unheard of for a large profile investor to invest in a minnow like this
Whatever you think my reasons are, i am actually more interested in seeing if the Sheikh does anything that wouldn't normally happen
I have openly stated that AJE (main investment) doesn't justify Market Cap, so the current SP is driven completely by hope value on the Sheikh
None of us know this Sheikh, how hands on he is with other companies or will be with MXO, its all speculation from all sides of the argument
I can't see (in my opinion) any rational why he invested (but he did) and typically the Sheikh's aren't stupid but saying that they also have so much money that if a business deal goes south they don't care, Sheikh can afford to lose his £500k+ investment, most on here can't afford to lose £5k / £10k of hard earned money (we have seen some serious claims of what people are investing in here) personally people should have a diverse portfolio but too many can get caught up on fanciful ramps - we have all seen and experienced it.

for MXO to secure new investment opportunities, its going to need funding and no one here knows if the Sheikh will do it in Debt / Equity / even at all
one of his other companies may make progress somewhere else and MXO might get left behind without a second thought

Why would they need HNW INSTITUTIONAL INVESTORS if the Sheikh is going to provide CAPEX?
Has the Sheikh stated he is going to fund MXO, all CAPEX and INVESTMENTS?
Has anyone seen a credible report / interview with the Sheikh on his investment in MXO other than the sole one that was done last week which we have had no proof if it was genuine?

You will have to wait what happens here for the next couple of months, its going to be a waiting game on the next stage of AJE and the Sheikh's forward plans for MXO

I very much doubt the Sheikh is there behind his PC selling shares for small profits - i can't see him selling in the near term
i don't see how you can call it de-risked though - no one has any idea of what any future plans he has here
The AJE field still hasn't had an updated feasibility study for further development, but this will likely come in next 6 weeks, the Sheikh needs to be appointed as Non-Exec Chairman probably within this time, if its not him appointed i would expect a dip as a lot of price is based on him in that position

Any reason for this or just waking up to the fact there are multiple income streams and developments ongoing here and way undervalued (IMHO)

i'm not clued up on the full rules, but a major fundamental reason for a takeover is that party A has something Party B wants that can't be purchased or obtained readily
they are clearly two different references

I think you are probably right NaPoM that he invests as a partner, it has been his model to date

if he wants 100%, then the most recent high is 0.48 i think in the last month
then if he did, any investor would get 60% increase on now
not saying he won't just wondering why.
he could easily invest himself (and has done on multiple occasions) and not via MX Oil
usually there is something that he wants that he can't get easily and the target has it - its fundamentals of a takeover

it would make sense for him to buy at that price
if he wanted 100% of MXO, why?
what does MXO have that he doesn't or can't have?
The listing? some Licence?
most times when i have seen this sort of thing there is something that one party wants, just one part, they usually scrap 90% of the stuff they don't want once taken over

for the genuine LTH's i hope your correct
Possibly bought just under 30% to take control at a later date at a cheaper price than 0.6p

MXO has potential but AJE isn't worth the Market Cap
I will wait and see what happens on the AJE field and other investment done by MXO if the Sheikh is really going to drive it forward, its going to be a long road there but i would be more positive there than here
MXO is just overvalued on pure speculation of having one (hopefully decent) large investor, it doesnt male an asset worth a few million worth £50million+ like some are spouting

its a hobby i have made and lost money doing and i have learnt a lot while doing

Seen the Article - seems he is positive in it but i'm always suspect of these articles as there are always lots of fakes that come out people point too to try and enhance opinion of shares, we have all seen it, not saying it is but if he is appointed as Chairman of MX OIL in next few weeks then it gives it credability, if a minion is appointed as a non exec director then its complete tosh
will be watching, if he is going to turn MXO into a behemoth of a company by further investing in new projects, its going to come at a cost somewhere initially.

I am assuming then you are accusing Lesoza Enterprises Limited of conducting illegal trading activities with MX OIL
On the basis that Lesoza Enterprises Limited is owned by Andy Frangos, who is also as per his LinkedIn a Founder of Cornhill Asset Management and Pello Capital Limited (where he is a previous Director and major shareholder) who are as per the RNS's also act as MX OIL's Broker (Dan Gee) you are actually probably uncovering some potential major insider dealings

No offence but your language on here suggests your not a solicitor
Most Solicitors i work with are whiter than white and wouldn't leave them exposed on a personal level to even a hint of a law suit, even when a solicitor states 100% fact they cover their arses
