RE: Any feedback from the presentation?13 Feb 2020 21:11
Yes, it's strange that the video hasn't appeared yet.
Nomads can be ultra-cautious as to what is revealed at these things and tell you beforehand that if you let anything slip we'll have to get an immediate RNS out, AIM Police etc, and may insist on a script.
The fact that it was at 10.30 am makes it worse, as any immediate spike in the SP can be construed as blah blah blah.
I am not at all concerned about the drift, and indeed added quite a lot today, and still have huge confidence.
I think that what the market really needs is some projected figures for the next couple of years, but because it is so up in the air as to what we are dealing with, especially with two more wells, any figures would be speculative and could come back to bite Paul on the arris, so he will have been told to keep schtum.
I am sure that it is as frustrating for Paul as it is for the rest of us, but roolz is roolz, innit?
What we do know is that Paul is a believer in understatement and then smashing expectations, so we can rest easy.
There is a good pipeline of news to come, but the market seems to want to be fed with a continuous stream of mega news, which is impossible.
In order to keep busy, I have to admit that I have had some fun over the last week by trading in and out of a particularly volatile FTSE 100 company that has meant a lot of concentration, and seem to have come out fairly positively, but I wouldn't want to leave too much in overnight as it is going to be a binary play as to whether it goes phut or a bagger..
I have never seen the shorters play a share like this before, it is truly remarkable to watch.
Anyway, we don't have to worry about any of that with TXP and it is a good solid hold imho, although there will always be slight ups and downs with the occasional big jump up, which is what we are all here for after all.
