I have just had a very enjoyable viewing of the video and cannot recommend it enough.
It reinforces my belief in TXP and that it truly is my next Dana Petroleum. Paul is very restrained in his expectations until the results are actually proven, which is to be commended.
My own view is that the conservative estimates will be smashed to bits and that by the end of the year we will be producing 15,000 boepd, but I am an optimist by nature.
Even though the reserves estimate due at the end of March will only include Coho, I think that they will be double where they are at the moment, and double again, or more, by this time next year.
I stand by my SP projection of £1 by the end of the year, and double that or more by the end of next year. I hope that I am being conservative on that one, and we will grow far more rapidly than that, depending on the Chinook and Royston results.
That has cheered me up in the face of a miserable week that has cost me rather a lot of cash, but the recovery should be as rapid as the decline.

New RNS states 17,990,250

=3,750,000

Haven't sold a single share = good news then

North acquired 3,750,000 in the placing and I note that in the TR1 they are using the new share total number of 183,203,095.
I can only infer that they have sold the balance.

RRE has a very tight ship when it comes to news of a deal.
Even so, I am watching for an increase in volume or an indication that news of a deal is in the offing.
I have no reason to suspect this, but it would not surprise me if we are suspended before the end of the month.
Knowing how savvy AA is, he will time any acquisition to coincide with the bottom of the market of the oil price, and therefore any acquisition cost, which is a very difficult one to call.

As we have a conference call tomorrow, I hope that we can anticipate a bit of news prior to that, which is frequently the norm with these things.
Let's hope that it is the news about the distillates from Cascadura, and that it is coming out of the ground as diesel fuel and we are building a power station to generate electricity, or something equally wild.
I suspect that it will be rather more mundane, namely that it is worth twice as much as WTI crude.
That will do nicely.

Sorry, today, I thought that I heard the midnight news.

So that's about half of the shares sold before they are admitted to the market.

We can assume that many of the placees already held shares, but I think that North has probably taken the chance to sell more than their 3,750,000 allocation.

Interesting day tomorrow, I think that we will head back above the 50 pence mark pretty quickly.

Keeping in mind that the new shares will not be issued and admitted until next week, I think that it is highly likely that the big seller is North, taking the chance to sell at an artificial floor of 40 pence without upsetting the SP, and the MMs are lapping them up because they have a very active buying market to get in at these levels.

It will be interesting to see whether there is another flurry of selling once the new shares are admitted, but I think that is less likely.

in the last few days was probably that North had been made inside as a result of their participation in the placing, and therefore unable to sell.
It only goes to show that once they stop selling, the Share Price absolutely romps away.
Share trades today now exceed 6 million, and whilst we can anticipate further selling into the market, the impact of the placing will soon be cleared.

Same as any other dog, you have to offer it food as a reward for doing what you want it to do.

Apart from this, he has a waggy tail, and responds well to offers of food and drink.

I don't think that TXP needs to be one of his many masters, the chaps at Pro-Active are doing a fine job.
