Oilies have tanked worse than I have seen for years.
The only exception in my portfolio is Touchstone TXP which has hit a couple of massive gas finds, and the second bit of testing is happening this weekend on the latest discovery.
Unfortunately, the pressures and volumes of gas are too big to test at more than 20% drawdown, as they are too big for the testing equipment.
Shares have remained strong and set to romp up with a couple of new exploration drills.
The other good thing is that because there is a shortage of gas in Trinidad, it is all pre-sold at a premium to market prices, and the Government will pay for putting the pipeline infrastructure in.
It is the only thing that has offset my losses here in RRE.

Primera Oil and Gas Limited would like to inform the public of the planned well testing operations to be conducted on our well, CAS-1 ST1, located in the vicinity of Poole Valley Road, Rio Claro. We expect to commence operations on the 7th March 2020. The testing period is estimated to span 3 to 4 days with works being conducted on a 24-hour basis.

The well testing operation will entail the flow back of hydrocarbons (natural gas, natural gas liquids and/or crude) to surface as we evaluate the reservoir’s performance. If large quantities of natural gas are encountered during flowback, this gas will be flared (controlled burning of natural gas) through a flare stack located at the facility.

During operations the public is expected to stay within a safe distance (~250 m) from the wellsite to allow for the safe execution of the well testing activities. In the event of an emergency, the public is advised not to be alarmed and follow instructions from our company personnel. The company will collaborate with the government and relevant emergency services to execute emergency response and the public will be advised on any further course of action.
