I am delighted to have been invited by a number of shareholders to stand as a Director of MNRG.
I believe that the company has excellent potential and with investment in the right opportunities will move forwards to a profitable position.
There is a lot of work to be done and the key to the future is for shareholders to vote for change.
Adrian.
Cannot wait for this to happen, but, as always, I will have to.
WHEN we hit ' The BIG ONE' this will be unstoppable, imvho, dyofr etc......
Well Thursday if regarded by many as the best day to release a good RNS. Friday is the day to bury bad news, but Thursday is perfect for good news as it gives the chance for some real momentum into the weekend and to be featured in the weekend financial press.
Let's hope that we get one....
TXP still makes no sense at all.
I am going to bung a bit more TXP into my ISA this week.
I cannot believe that I am getting the chance to top up at these levels, grand larceny imho.
Food news as requested.
The rain is good for the pineapples and sugar cane.

Crop over and Carnival at the end of the month.
Many congratulations to Matt for increasing his commitment to PRIM as CEO!
Matt has an excellent technical ability which is matched by his portfolio performance.
I was very pleased to introduce him to Rupert when the Board was replaced, and am even more pleased now!
Many congratulations!
With everything that is already in the bag, this share price is ludicrous.
Once the 'Wall of cash' starts hitting the figures, many will rue selling at this level.
It is like the Guinness advert, where the chap is waiting for the wave.....
It will come. As surely as night follows day.
Patience will win out here.
Good luck all
All, I am having real problems getting the meeting link.
Does anyone have it?
Thanks
Yes, we all do Si.
Perhaps you should have listened. Nice RNS over there.
This looks like excellent news and whilst production may 'only' be circa 100 barrels per day THAT'S AN INCOME STREAM OF NEARLY £3 MILLION PER ANNUM!
We don't get all of that, but it is the start of a programme.
Paul Baay of Touchstone started with 50 barrels per day and built it to 3,500 per day.
Awesome! ( American terminology)
It will be interesting to see whether the Directors decide to award themselves nice bonuses and pay rises from the proceeds of the £2.3 million fund raise.
Please call me a cynic, but I have seen this many times before, mainly on AIM companies, not main market like MNRG.
The temptation must be there, and it will be a neat little integrity test to see if it is too much to resist.
We will find out at the AGM when we get the opportunity to inspect the Directors' contracts, it is a Companies' Act requirement to display these at the AGM.
Another concern that I have is that the running costs of the company exceed the income, so the Board is always eating into Shareholders' funds, which is unsustainable.
I am a true optimist and can see the huge potential here, but I don't like the prospect that increases in income just go to support bigger salaries, there are other stakeholders, not just the Board of Directors.
Your thoughts please?
I was interested to see that the RNS announcement for the AGM was issued at 16.30 on Friday.
I am making my own inference, but it doesn't strike me as the action of a company that is keen to have its shareholders meet and greet, even if it is a remote meeting.
Starchild, you will find me on the Link Din ting, and happy to link

The more that I think about this share, it strikes me that we are substantially undervalued.
Not only is there a portfolio of interesting and varied opportunities, but WE ARE ACTUALLY PRODUCING OIL ON A DAILY BASIS WITH THE HOPE OF MORE TO COME!!!
If you then look at the companies that are invested in producing oil from the much-promoted Horse Hill and their valuations, I can see that there is a real prospect of a share price rerate.
As always, the market will decide and sometimes it makes no sense, such as the undervaluation of TXP, which has a wall of cash from production, on its way.
I really can see that upon good news, we are set for a huge improvement in the SP, as we seem to move quickly, even on small share transaction volumes.
Time to get onto the risers board, methinks?
I have been thinking about yesterday's announcement.
It would seem to me that they would only implement this option if they had some good news on the proposed makeover of the oil well
Let's hope that this is the precursor to some good news in the wait for it, pipeline!
As always patience is a virtue that I don't have.
Good luck all LTH
And also to the investors that may pile in if we get good news!
Dear All UKOG BB readers, I have been in and out of UKOG over the years, and have even managed to make a bit of money with them.
It strikes me that there is a bit of dissent over the management.
I am a fairly well-known activist investor and deposed the former Board of Directors at InfraStrata and provided the Legals and other assistance with the Board changes at PRIM Primorus.
Very happy to help facilitate change if you would like me to help.

Buffy thanks for your observations.
Because MNRG is Main Market I seem to think that huge dilution is rather difficult.
I have been known to be wrong but they did just use all the headroom as far as I can tell.
Yes, this looks quite promising.
During my research over the last week or so, I am sure that I noticed that they are looking at the possibility of putting money into this well.
After the raise they now have the funds to invest.
As this is the only element of the company that is producing a positive cashflow, I think that this would make a great deal of sense.
Maaark moy wurrrdzzzz!
I may have to get the Crystal Ball out of retirement, it has served me 'well' over the years.
It is indeed.
