It has always been like this with Puretech
but patience will be handsomely rewarded.
I am expecting some funds in 2/3 weeks and I am hoping to buy some more Puretech to add to my current holding...I have the utmost belief in the company unlike some other of my shareholdings.

Ms Zohar said 12 months ago that she wanted Puretech to be a $10billion Pharma company by 2024 .
If Puretech kept Karuna in house and developed the drugs it would now be valued at c$8billion .
In any event they offloaded the risk but still will take c$800M out from its shareholding plus potentially another $50m a year in royalties.
,license fees plus large milestone payments on FDA approval.
Remember it's large stake in Vedanta where the Gates Foundation and other major investors have large stakes could even be more lucrative.
Not a time to sell imho

Yes but if the FDA approves the Phase 3 we are in a different investment situation and the speculative pot will boil right up to the results.
The starting gun will be set a base for the SP and it should be a lot higher than 5.5p imho.
Investors can choose to get out in a month/ 6 months et al or top slice as we get nearer the results.
Our options will be a lot better if the Phase 3 is approved...conversely we will have no options if it is turned down imho

Karuna has announced today that it is raising over $750M via a share placing at $212 to fund growth.
This is a 10% discount to todays SP and is fully subscribed.
I wonder if Puretech will take this opportunity to exit and secure another c$250m in cash which in effect means that the total cash of c $800m would be equal to the market cap and ignoring the potential $1/2 billion of their remaining assets in its founded companies and its own excellent drugs portfolio.
Share price is bizarre imho

Best of luck...I have 2.5 million shares at 16p and have been here for a million years or so it seems like.
We will know a lot more in a couple of weeks.

If Puretech cash in the remainder of its Karuna shareholding it would have over $375m of surplus cash to return to shareholders maybe via a special dividend of c£1 a share.
Maybe an announcement at the Interims to this effect?

Vedanta ,Sonde ,Akili and the other founded entities could worth over a $1 billion to Puretech with its own choice drug therapies potential blockbusters ( that's why Puretech kept them inhouse) plus cash of c $400m and $50 M Buyback programme in progress..
It is only the start of the correction with half year results out in 2 weeks.

Puretechs 5.5% shareholding in Karuna Pharma could be worth north of $350 this afternoon...add in royalties, sub licencing fees and milestone payments and this one investment could be worth more than the total market cap of Puretech.

Major royalties now coming Puretech's way from this successful drug from Karuna plus milestone payments and shareholding in Karuna set to rocket later on Wall Street.

I am afraid to mention what Chairman Tim was suggesting for future Lupuzor royalties...$150 m per annum with more from the other Peptide drugs.
Such royalties would value IMMU at over a $1 billion plus.

See SP moving quickly after FDA confirmation later this month....an absolute certainty if you are to believe.
Reason for fund raising..Lanstead will paying multiples of the £1m it is investing as SP soars according to Tim and with no further dilution.
Also wanted to allow loyal investors to participate at this bargain price to gain on the upside.
Funds to cover overheads for at least 12 months excluding funds from Lanstead and warrants etc.
Main takeaway is the FDA approval is a certainty
and SP set to appreciate strongly after decision allowing IMMU to gain substantially from the Lanstead deal.

If I was cynical I might think Chairman Mao Tse Tim was looking after a few old City mates before the FDA decision.
The FDA decision could make Lanstead and the "other " private investor a fortune and nobody would invest now at any price unless the decision was near 100% certain.
We will never know but a potential 300% gain in 1/2 months attracted a few sharks.

The only consolation is that if Art Deas hadn't come onboard and agreed to fund the Phase3 Lupuzor trial to the tune of $25m and invest £1.2m at 11p in the last placing together with submitting the application to the FDA something the Alora Pharma Group is highly experienced in
Immupharma would be in liquidation now and we would all have lost everything.
Small mercies I agree but we are still in the game and 15/20p is not out of the question if we get a favourable FDA decision.

You were spot on regarding the fund raise but I should not have been
surprised after 5/6 years stuck in IMMU.
However, the punters must be confident of a successful FDA outcome to invest
more in the company because if the decision is negative then they will lose
everything like the rest of us.
Hang on to your seats for what promises to be a scary ride.
