I still feel that the SP will finish up at the close of trading today.
It is currently trading at 136p down 1.7p having gone 2.6p ex-div today.
Fingers crossed .

The ITV Studios production World on Fire is proving to be a major
hit worldwide with over 6 million viewers alone tuning in to each of the 1st two episodes
on BBC and numbers expected to reach 8 million as interest grows.
ITV has sold the series to over 40 countries including the US where it
is expected to be a huge success.
The next ITV Studios blockbuster --Noughts and Crosses- is expected to be
even bigger with record International sales to date.
BBC will air Noughts and Crosses next year.
A Confession with Martin Freeman has also proved a massive winner internationally
So expect good news about ITV Studios performance at the next results update.
Looking very positive all round for ITV imho.

Little pre-dividend buying today with volume at 5 million which
is normal.
However, the SP is up 1.5p at the moment and we may get a further small
bounce later which would negate any possible ( and short-lived? ) drop
early tomorrow morning.

I am not so sure that the share price
will drop by the 2.6p Interim dividend
when going ex-div tomorrow.
With a no deal Brexit dead in a ditch and
was never going to happen I feel ITV will
continue to gather momentum over the coming
weeks.
There may be an initial drop in the SP tomorrow morning when gone ex-div but I bet the SP will be
HIGHER at close tomorrow imho.

The interim dividend of 2.6p is payable on the 2nd December and
the share price goes ex-div this Thursday 24th October.
Normally the share price adjusts downward by the amount of the
dividend on the ex-div excluding any other market influences on the day.

Moving averages and Technical charts all signalling a strong buy today
with key pivot points at 140.5p ( average weighting).

A breakthrough above 141p could see a jump to 148p + according to the
charts.
I am not a great believer in technical analysis but many market professionals
are.
A combination of very strong fundamentals, technical support, and overall market
sentiment (favourable Brexit outcome) could drive the ITV share price much higher imho.

I am not a great fan of Boris or his svengali, Cummings but they do appear
to have thoroughly outsmarted Corbyn and his comrades.
Leo Varadkar has also played a blinder and his stock has soared both in Ireland
and the EU.
Either way, Johnson is in a commanding position even if Parliament votes the deal down.
ITV set for further gains in the coming weeks imho

I fully agree with you .
Bonking BoJo is proving to be a surprise and if Parliament and the Labour Party
vote down the deal the Tories could go to the country and gain a sizeable majority.
Labour is snookered now and the two old Trots -Corbyn and McDonnell -have blown
their chance of a Utopian socialist UK with their utter lazy incompetence and 19th Century
politics.
The events now unfolding in this Brexit endgame ( Part 1) look very good for our
investment in ITV imho.

A muted response so far to the "DEAL" as some doubts remain about getting it through
the House of Commons on Saturday with the DUP ( representing a minority of overall views
in Northern Ireland) and comprised of right-wing anti-abortion, anti-same-sex marriage , anti Catholic/ Jews/ Muslims
et al and creationists , anti-science etc but not immune to corruption on a grand scale ( Cash for Ash scheme/ Ian
Paisley Jnr and his expenses abuse), association with the UDA/UVF etc etc .
How the Tories allowed this gang of weirdos to hold the balance of power and obstruct the will of the people of
Britain, Ireland ( North and South) and the EU to conclude a fair and mutually acceptable Brexit is beyond belief.
The real surge in UK domestic companies ( including ITV), the Pound and the economies of the UK, EU, and Ireland
will only come after the deal is approved by the Commons.
We are nearly there but a few nails to be bitten yet.

Powerful economic forces at work to insure a deal is done albeit a fudge on the backstop.
ITV now in a great position with prized content, SDN , advertising to rise sharply after Brexit, Sale
of Southbank at higher price post deal and borrowings in € with £ appreciating reducing debt costs.
If deal done with EU we could see 180p plus

Brexit hopes lifting ITV share price today and finally we could be seeing the big rerating the fundamentals suggest.

with further pivots at 145p and 154p.
Not a great believer in chart analysis particularly with the current political risks but market professionals are.
