Could the slow uptake in exercising warrants not be due to the end of year deadline? I mean unless you plan to sell the shares right away and bank the profit, then it makes sense to wait until last minute on the off-chance that the shareprice should drop below the warrant price of 9p before the deadline? However small that risk may be, it can be eliminated for free by waiting, so it would make sense to wait?

I have exercised mine as I figured it is a (very) small help to RKH, and thereby in my own interest, but when I wrote my bank their initial reply was that they would be exercised “when they were due on 31/12/2023” (or something to that effect). I then had to write them again and insist that they could and should be exercised now. Maybe other banks have the same approach? I am confident that the vast majority will be exercised in December, barring a big drop in the shaereprice of course.

You are right, there is no point obsessing over that possibility as we will be cracking on with FID on Sealion regardless while increasing the award by approximately EUR 1,5 mio in interest per month.. your concerns are duly noted, but I’m afraid you will find it futile to try to influence anyone’s positions in here. Most here are battlescarred veteran Rockhoppers and we are used to wait for years on end and we are used to alter egos - in fact some here have numerous. The award is a sideshow to the rkh story as a man/woman with your thoroughness and intellect would know. So even if the award was annulled tomorrow, very few of us would sell. You are wasting your time - and everyone of us who is bored enough to reply you

Hi LTT, I’m not sure that’s how it works..? If rkh wins the case, then surely 100% of their legal fees are to be paid by Italy irrespective of the amount they win. That’s how I understand it anyways

I disagree! Italy have had over 6 years to negotiate a settlement. They did not, so that train has left now IMO. They’ll probably be cheeky enough to try, but why would we settle now after a slam dunk? I don’t see Italy having anymore options now…

This reads to me that Italy is pretty much checkmate. Cough up now into an escrow account or kiss your last desperate attempt at annulment goodbye…and in doing so they’ll have no further delaying options left when the annulment request is dismissed.. bit of a catch-22 for italy isn’t it? ;-)

Looks like a 7am RNS then. I fully expect the stay to remain, but it changes nothing for me. If the stay is lifted, then happy days, but I am in this for the Sea Lion oil to be monetised, so this OM case is merely an interesting sideshow. I think a lot of people are sleeping on RKH and how the game has changed this past year…

I’ve heard this Buys vs Sells argument over and over and over. For the life of me I cannot understand it. If some some geezer have sold 10 shares, that must mean some other geezer have bought his/her/its 10 shares… some gets executed closer to the bid and other closer to the ask price and that’s what determines if a trade is seen as a “sell” or a “buy” (sigh), but can someone please explain to me why this is supposed to carry any significance? I find it utterly trivial..
