This is exactly the issue... I have 'other' investments which I would like to plough into, investments which could very soon break out to much higher levels. I just know the minute I pull out of Rainbow to 'hit and run' the other stock that will be the exact moment Rainbow skyrockets. I/we just have to bide our time. Good Luck all RBW stock holders.

Regarding the logistics, transport/haulage etc. I am confident that the CEO George Bennett with his vast experience of the 'challenging' conditions presented in that region will know exactly what is needed 'to get the job done'. £1.13 Billion... they're having a laugh aren't they? If (?) the Synairgen product is as effective as they say it is when used in early treatment of Covid-19 AND in alleviating symptoms from COPD this must be worth ten times this amount. However, I suppose at the end of the day something is only worth what somebody is prepared to pay for it.

It's going to be an 'interesting' six months for all of us...

...is the key to this stock. Use the low exposure and price to build up your holdings because I think when it 'eventually' takes off it will head for the stars. It may take a while but I'm already noticing more EVs and Hybrid vehicles on the roads, I'm sure many of the PIs who visit this board have too. Everyday I wait in anticipation of the JORC report coming through. I hope the delay is a good sign that the RBW mineral results are even greater than what was expected. It would be nice to have better comms with the company i.e. between company and investors but it will come. I am a long term holder of this stock and see a very bright future for the company... and you never know, they might even find some GOLD in the Zimbabwe mines!

I've been visiting some boards recently and as the share price has gone manic so has the comments section. Some of it is quite abusive too... no doubt if and when Rainbow takes off (in my opinion it shouldn't be 'too' long before that happens) the same explosion of comments will appear on here. Let's hope it remains 'civilised'!

Hello oldblue.... I believe the Rainbow JORC is being undertaken by a South African based organisation - SAIMM (South African Institute of Mining and Metallurgy. Do you have any experience of SAIMM that may give Rainbow investors an insight of how they work or what to expect?

...it's all Greek to me. Mr MM I appreciate your technical chart analysis report though and all the signs (to a layman like me) that you point to appear to be 'good' omens for this stock. Personally I'm looking at things in a medium to long term view. I intend to consolidate and hold this stock for at least 3-5 years and possibly longer. I am trying not to get to 'sentimental' about this stock but I am 'smitten' with it to some degree. I'd even consider doing six months out in Burundi just to give them a hand labouring etc.! But to be serious I hope the company does well and it would be interesting to see other peoples thoughts about possible take-overs by bigger entities and what sort of offer might we see. Obviously it is all pure speculation but interesting none the less...

I just know that the second I flog my holding in RBW - they will 'rocket' skywards. Must be patient but the way it's going the annual results will be upon us. Does anybody know anything about JORC in South Africa? I presume GB is very familiar with their working as I guess he is from that part of the world by his accent. I'm sure he knows what he is doing(!)

I understand that we are awaiting the JORC findings/report and hopefully this will at least confirm what we are all hoping and possibly exceed those expectations which should result in a positive re-rating of RBW. My question is what can we 'look forward' to in say the next 12 months? Or is it just a case of 'sit back and relax' because the JORC excitement is over?

Regarding the Zimbabwe licences is that likely to be potential gold/platinum deposits? No doubt the BoD are experts in this field and must think it is worth it considering they got the licences at bargain prices. Gold or not I'm still looking at the ramping up of EVs etc. over the next 5 - 7 years. I believe this global shutdown we have had will only accelerate the low/no carbon policies.

...there really is not much downsize. I just wish I had more cash to increase my holding. Admittedly my average price paid is just under 3pence so I am currently showing a fairly large on paper loss. Of course it's only a loss if you (have to) sell. As an aside what are the opinions of the share price in say 5 years time... all things being equal (and they haven't still got us locked down in our own homes). A real bargain price right now in my opinion...

We are in 'difficult' times right now and whilst the report is not 'glowing' it is at least a fair and honest assessment of current conditions within the company. rainbow was/is always going to be a 'speculative' investment - for a number of reasons but I happen to believe that medium to long term this company will prove to be a very profitable investment for all investors who stay the course. Just my opinion and to be honest looking at the rest of my investments right now it's a case of holding tight, keeping your head down and weathering the storm. Sunny days WILL be back in the fullness of time. Just got to be patient.

Considering all the havoc the COVID-19 (hysteria?) is having on the markets I think Rainbow are holding up well. A bargain price yesterday and wish I'd had some spare moolah to buy a few more - I hope some of you managed to top up your holdings. At some point in the future and going on a worse case scenario of a pandemic occurring with a bit of luck it should all be over in 2 years(!). The Spanish Flu took about 2 years 1918 - 1920 but I do not think this situation is as bad as then so I'm hoping that we can all breathe a sigh of relief at the end of Summer 2020.

Good comment DMcG... I really hope that Zimbabwe can get some international and private equity help to stabilise their country. Given half a chance It has great potential if governed sensibly and fairly so let's all hope that things can change for the better. Companies like Rainbow can help to achieve this whilst at the same time making Rainbow a global player in the Mining sector.

I am invested in Rainbow for the long term and hope that this will at some point in the next ten years be rewarded. I am of a mind to substantially increase my investment in this company as I believe it has a great future. Does anybody have thoughts on the medium to long term prospects for Rainbow? What are the chances of a 'takeover' by one of the larger players?

With the pressure global society to 'go green' the future could get very Interesting for anybody interested in Rainbow Rare Earths. GLA

I recently read a report that a ban on the sale of new petrol and diesel cars could be brought forward from 2040 to 2035, according to transport secretary, Grant Shapps. There will still be a large demand for Petrol and possibly diesel vehicles but Electric Vehicle production will have to be up and running on a massive scale at least 3 to 6 years prior to this just to support supply. Along with this will be all the necessary infrastructure work to support the EVs. 2035 is not that far away and could yet be brought forward again (a bit like my State Pension age!), we will have to wait and see.

From an investment point of view I'm looking forward to many new opportunities that will be heading our way in the near future.

Thank you for your reply and explanation of my query, I have learnt something new and it is all starting to makes sense!

I found your 'Company Prospects and Share Price' comments very interesting and valid. I try to envisage the world in 10 to 15 years time and where the demand for rare earths will come from. An obvious demand source for rare earths will be the increase demand for 'green' electric power production and battery powered vehicles and tools. I believe that the increased demands for reducing carbon emissions worldwide will fuel the rise in all things 'electric with battery storage' and that this will be a huge industry of the future.

I like to think that an investment in a company such as RBW may in 10 to 15 years time reap some rewards. Only time will tell how it will pan out!
