Rr101 Hang in there... corrections do happen and trying to time the market is nigh on impossible (so I wouldn't even suggest trying). The market will stabilise and when it does the trajectory should be northwards.

Individuals are saying that Bitcoin is overvalued. By what criteria is it overvalued? Come to think of it what about the value of US Dollars, Euro and the GB Pound? Or for that matter da Vinci's Salvator Mundi (last sold for just north of US$450 million)... at the end of the day Bitcoin will be worth exactly what the market deems it to be worth at any given time and the same goes for Argo.

I have confidence that we'll be back on track very soon!

Ignore the Day Trading action... think medium to long term. Where do you believe Argo sp will be in 3 months...6 months... a year or even 3 years from now?

If you believe BTC and crypto are here to stay then i suggest you hold and add for the long term. Just my opinion of course!

...was an aberration but perhaps a necessary one. The correlation between Argo sp and the value of BTC still exists but the leverage factors offered by Argo against BTC are not set in stone and are somewhat 'flexible'. That said I believe that when a long term view is able to be taken a closer relationship will be revealed. This will become more evident when BTC and crypto in general are more widely accepted - this WILL happen and when it does the product volatility will dissipate. Like any means of exchange, currency etc. there will always be some volatility but nothing like we are seeing now.

In the meantime I can only guess as to where Argo and BTC values will be in 12 months... I am quietly optimistic and confident that it will be much, much higher than it is now (sorry it is a bit woolly and vague but I couldn't realistically predict Mondays 8am opening values other than I hope and think it will be higher!)

We're positioned well in Argo... probably the most exciting (if that's the right word to use) share/investment I have ever owned. Good times ahead for ALL Argo shareholders...

...massive future potential. It isn't guaranteed and is if you will a 'gamble'. Hold your stock for a while and keep calm. When some news arrives... and it will then this will start moving again. I like the quality of the BoD... I like the sector and I like that it has reach into Asia. All good in my book.

This is just my considered opinion and I've been wrong before but all things considered with my DD on GST I have some optimism that this stock WILL be profitable.

@k1cks77... I suppose when you call someones baby 'ugly' they sometimes get a little annoyed (my old mum used to say that a baby had a lot of 'character' if it wasn't the prettiest of babies!). All I'll say is that there is nothing wrong in taking a profit in a successful stock - it's what we're all here for - profit!

From where I'm standing I plan to hold and see where cryptocurrency and block-chain are over the next 36/48 months. I believe the technology and concept are here to stay no doubt with a fair bit of volatility too. I don't think it is a sector for those of a nervous disposition or high blood pressure (get those statins down yer neck!) but I think for those that stay the course it will be hugely profitable.

... as this is a great time to get top up. With Singapore governmental grants and a very experienced BoD the future is looking bright in the long term. Short term it will always be volatile and risky but long term it is a 'no brainer'.

Think long term!

Your shares are wanted...badly. GST is a volatile stock right now but ride that volatility and in three months time you'll be in a much better place!

This company has potentially a great future. Be part of it!

I agree minnabo... a necessary dilution to help fund the ultimate goal of getting the gold out of the ground and to market. Just keep a very firm hold onto your shares. Make no mistake, when it all kicks off you'll be glad you held onto them...

Like Valuerebel I too have strayed but I will be back as soon as possible. In fact no sooner had I sold today the stock rose 4.5% and the stock I bought into dropped! Karma I suppose. The other stock has news imminent and I hope to benefit from that increase and return some of those gains back into Alien. No doubt Alien will release the mother of all RNSs tomorrow and I'll miss out but sometimes you have to take a risk.

...regarding the long term future and prospects for GS Technologies?

I rather hope that we are in (almost) at the birth of a financial 'monster' company which will take Digital Finance to the whole of Asia and be a respected company all around the world.

Alternatively it'll come and go like so many other companies... but I don't think it will!

In the meantime enjoy the ride and keep your fingers away from the 'sell button'... at least for a while.

Hello Seaking1... Now's probably as good a time as any to get into the UK sector. UK stocks are very low at the moment and have been in the doldrums for a few years now, no doubt uncertainty over BREXIT has held them back and the government reaction to Covid-19 has probably put the last nail in the coffin for a number of UK firms. It remains to be seen whether you could do better putting your hard earned money into sectors/regions with better growth opportunities. You won't go wrong with Asia... especially China, Sth. Korea, japan and Taiwan.

Assuming a mcap of just under £240m I'd like to see 15.8p... don't ask me where I got those figures from but I'm sure that Oriole has a lot of gold in their back yard!

Not sure if this is the sort of thing you are looking for but I hold a number of Funds, investment trusts and ETFs but for what it's worth and of course caveat emptor, dyor and all that but you could do worse than look at Scottish Mortgage Investment Trust and with a little more risk but great potential All Active Asset Capital.

Not advice just my own experience.

And_its_gone... you are one hundred percent correct. An investor's lack of patience with the stocks they hold is one of the biggest mistakes to make in my view. I'm talking about 'investing' here and not 'trading'. Very different beasts and strategy required.

The problem I find is that everything is so fast paced now that if things don't happen quickly people get very itchy fingers over the sell button. Oh for the days when you had to dial your stock broker and discuss it with them! It doesn't help either that people have the 'grass is greener in the next field' syndrome. We've probably all been there... funds all used to by a lovely stock... only for an even better looking stock to walk by. As my wife tells me when I see a beautiful woman walk by she just quietly says to me, "Just keep looking Dai, just keep looking".

Oh well, tomorrows another day, another Dollar...

chris151... I admire your conviction and enthusiasm! I think that Oriole is one of the best AIM gold stocks around taking into account the current stock price. A bargain if ever there was one. Keep holding and ride the MMs little tantrums to relieve you of your shares... they really do want them!

Keep investing and one day hopefully those 12 hour shifts will be a distant memory. I started shifts in 1984.... and I'm still doing them (!) so I have a little idea of what you're experiencing. Long days especially taking into account travel time. With a few more ducks lined up it'll soon be over for me too.
