... do you need your money now? If you need the cash for a new kidney then sell up. Ideally you've made a profit but if it's a loss then hey ho! 5h1t Happens! However, if you intend to see the company grow and expand to be the biggest and best Bitcoin miner on the planet... and it might take a year or two (but it has a very strong chance of happening) then the current fall in sp is but a mere aberration which will in time reverse. If you believe in Bitcoin and believe Argo is a good company then you have absolutely nothing to worry about. Ignore the naysayers and prophets of doom - unless they have credible evidence to back their comments IGNORE IT! They no doubt have an ulterior, selfish motive OR they suffer from some kind of mental disorder in which case they have my sympathy (lots of treatments available these days). I urge these people to seek help as soon as possible.

Personally, I will be buying as much Argo stock as I can afford. Caveat all imho, dyor & DD!

The current price is a bargain and if it drops further it will represent an incredible opportunity to average down and increase huge future potential. Argo is a great company which has great future prospects. It is fair to say that Argo will soon become THE number one Bitcoin mining company on this planet. It is quite obvious that Bitcoin will become the global reserve cryptocurrency and WILL become the Gold Standard against which all other national digital currencies are valued. Having a stake in Argo perfectly positions you to take advantage of the huge future which awaits Bitcoin.

As for national Governments banning Bitcoin... keep dreaming on as it will never happen. Any regulation applied to Bitcoin will only give it more legitimacy as a reserve currency and can only cement Bitcoins place in financial history. The only possible way of destroying the concept of cryptocurrency would be to close down the internet as we know it and let's face it, is there any realistic chance of that happening?'

Be patient and keep hold of your stock!

@FORD707... I completely agree with you re the patience of LTHs of 88E. I too stood on paper profit of about 30k just before the drilling results. Yes it was a gamble as I am currently sitting on a paper loss of about 48% but if I have to wait until Feb/Mar/Apr 2022 then so be it.

The battle may have been lost a few weeks ago but we live to fight another day and I'm looking forward to seeing that 'Duck' in all it's splendour!

... but why do I get the feeling that some people deliberately want to see a stock drop in value? Do they get some sort of perverted joy about others misfortune or are they, as I suspect doing it for selfish reasons. Look, whoever you are I agree with your right to your opinion. You've made that opinion and so now can move on to another target more deserving of your opinion than AAA.

If you are simply doing it out of joy then I suggest you seek professional psychiatric help. There are many successful treatments these days and it is available on the NHS.

As for AAAs aquisitions being a 'load of rubbish' I suggest that you do a little more research. As for European 'data mining and AI analytics laws' having a detrimental effect on AAA I strongly disagree. Like all laws that affect the operations (and value) of any company they adapt and evolve to the new situation. If you hadn't already noticed but nothing is static and everything is fluid these days. We might not like it but that is the reality of our present and future and this will certainly not change in my lifetime or I suspect yours.

@teawithsugar... I like your positivity. The strong fundamentals of this company have not changed other than that at each monthly reports Argo mine more BTC, hash rate going up, Texas being developed, addressing the demands of Green/Eco mining, Pluto holding, all funded by Zcash mining.

Peter Wall will see that this becomes THE number one BTC mining company. I trust him and i hope all LTH do too (otherwise what is the point?).

Keep strong and hold your stock for better times to come... oh and if you've got some spare fiat, I would get it into Argo pronto. As always just my opinion, not financial advice and do your own research and DD.

Yes it is frustrating to see the stock drop and what makes it worse is that it is such a good company to be invested in. The fundamentals are still there and are actually getting better by the day imho. As for the current so... it is an ideal opportunity to buy at a favourable price. I believe we will see a rerating, a significant rise in so. My prediction...
£3.40 - £3.70 by the end of August 2021

... but over Saturday and Sunday there have been some excellent posts of analysis and opinion. I don't need to name them as it is plain to see for everybody. Reading these posts and other material tell gives me some confidence that there is life and some good potential in this stock.

I believe the posts have been fair and balanced in content and it is a pleasure to see this and long may it continue!

Sorry Shrubby I missed your post re the new man in charge. Is this person a permanent replacement or just interim? If you are correct in that the new person is an accountant or money-man then that hopefully bodes well for future T/O or buyout negotiations. All said and done I'd take a buy-out right now!

Does anybody have a date for the AGM? If this news is out there please forgive me but i have not seen it. I am guessing sometime this month or possibly early May. Regarding the AGM I am hoping we'll be given more 'meat on the bone' than the recent drilling/wire-line report gave us. It would also be good to get an idea of the direction of travel 88 Energy are heading i.e. looking for a potential buyer of the assets or back to drilling/testing next season. Will David Wall's replacement be announced or does anybody have intelligence on this?

All who were invested are obviously very disappointed with the current position. The failure of the tests to be completed satisfactorily does not mean that this stock is a dead duck. I'll grant you that right now it is a lame duck.

As for the RNS or Aussie equivalent that 88 Energy put out, personally I do not think it was a well written document but it was as honest as you could get. There have been some balls ups and they've admitted enough to this effect but the report also indicated positive aspects which have some value to the stock.

Personally I will be holding this stock and when the opportunity is right I will try to average down as much as possible. I always knew there was considerable risk and so I am philosophical about my current 56% fall in stock value. Will it go lower...probably. Will it recover a bit... probably.

Early data from the North Slope’s two winter exploration wells are encouraging, operators say.

88 Energy, whose subsidiary Emerald House drilled the Merlin 1 well in the National Petroleum Reserve-Alaska, said March 29 that “interpretation of logging while drilling data indicates multiple potentially hydrocarbon bearing zones” were encountered in the Nanushuk formation.

The company said March 31 that wireline logging is underway with preliminary results expected April 3-4.

referring back to 5tocktw1ts et al If the Septics are reacting like this now just think of the pandemonium if/when positive news hits... alternatively if it is bad news, well I just hope the gun cabinets have had locks changed...As for positive news... I'm hopeful and optimistic. I'd be satisfied with 12p, very happy with 25p and 50p I'd be doing back flips (badly).
