Evening all...

RacingC makes some very valid comments re Argo - Argo is not just a 'one trick pony'. Mining BTC and zcash are just a part of the story, a significant part I'll grant you but eventually blockchain will affect many areas of our day to day life and hopefully will be beneficial to all of us. Argo have the potential to be right at the front of this industry. They're not there yet but they're certainly not hanging around! Of course we're all invested in Argo (well maybe not Pearls et al) and literally have a vested interest in Argo doing well and we are probably biased to some degree but that does not mean we are wrong or misguided! We have the advantage of being in 'right at the beginning' of this story so please for the moment keep hold of your shares. I've stated before that there is nothing wrong in taking a profit but do think of the bigger longer term picture.

By holding firm it's possible that future generations of your family will remember your foresight and think very kindly of you. A nice thought for a Sunday evening.

Of course I'm only joking and welcome all opinions 'good or bad' regarding investments. As a short anecdote from a few years back I can tell you all that a Chinese friend of mine who also was Chief accountant for Bank of America in Hong Kong told me that for a long time after the British 'handover' of the colony, 'stamps' i.e. rare and collectable stamps were used as a quasi-currency instead of the China (mainland) currency. Apparently stamp collecting is a very popular pastime/hobby for our Chinese friends...

I had the same dilemma when I was considering buying Otis Lifts... but I found it going 'up and down' too much for my liking.

To be fair to everybody both opinions could occur... and whilst one opinion will strongly view the evidence of a particular stock and expect a rise there is always an opposite opinion. If you could predict with absolute certainty then you wouldn't be piddling about on an LSE bb... you'd be high rolling with Messrs Buffett, Bezoz and Gates being waited on hand and foot by scantily clad women (or for a bit of diversity and inclusion 'men') and quaffing copious flaggons of 1959 Dom Perignon. As this is most likely not your current status I suggest we relax and enjoy the ride, bumps in the road an' all!

Hoping for a good day tomorrow but keep smiling whatever happens because the future is going to be great for Argo!

I know it is very frustrating not to see today's RNS rewarded but a little patience will pay off. It's going to be along month until the next monthly data drop but if it is on a par with today's then I predict a significant rise. I don't like plucking figures out of the air as it just becomes a guessing game but in this I'll make an exception and 'conservatively say that we should be in the range of 350p - 425p I hope this isn't classed as a 'ramp' but just an educated guess based on positive data. We also rely somewhat on BTC to remain >$40000 and to survive the monthly Chinese casino shorting games!

Hold your Argo stock tight!

... but the most important thing to do right now is stay away from the sell button. i know the temptation is great but HOLD (sorry can't force myself to use the word HODL yet...is it in the OED yet?) But hold, hold, HOLD!

This stock in all likelihood will give many here the opportunity to retire early and provide financial security for life.

Sell by all means...but just not yet!

@Lottohopes You again make interesting and valid comment regarding the 'store of value' concept for Bitcoin and the possibility of it acting as leverage against other financial concepts and the fact it can give security of decentralised ledger. Can it eradicate fraud in this area who knows but it will surely make it more difficult to happen (I'm probably being extremely naive in this matter!).

To more pressing matters a good RNS at 7am will put a smile on our faces and give us more evidence that have backed a winner.

All I need to find now is a cure for insomnia!

...regarding my last post my memory eludes me as I think I was probably getting nearer 10% annual interest on my cash deposits and not the 14.5% stated previously but it was still good by today's rates (well for savers at least)...

I agree totally with your comments. Of course I referred to the 'High Interest Deposit Account' somewhat 'tongue in cheek' and also with a little irony as I can remember at one point getting just a tad over 14.5% annual interest on my savings accounts(!) admittedly that was quite a while ago now.

Good Luck with your GST investment. I am also invested here and believe that there is a good chance this company, given time will be a great investment. I hope so anyway...

Lotto... you make some very interesting comments re the planned Texas facility. It will be interesting to see how it all pans out and what it will do for Argo and the possibility of further applications of blockchain technology. Time will tell. In the meantime we just sit here occasionally finding another piece of the jigsaw and the picture becomes a little more clearer whilst at the same time making our personal financial position a little bit secure. This IS reality right now, it is happening all around us and the speed at which it will happen will astound us all! I can see Argo being very well placed to benefit from all of this and as shareholders we too can benefit massively from this. Think what holding these shares could do for you and your families in a few years time. I don't really like the phrase 'life changing' - it is often bandied about willy nilly on many stocks where there is really no justification, however, in the case of Argo I believe 'Life Changing' is an appropriate description of the stock.

But I'm only an amateur and I've been on the pop so what do I know...

No I haven't posted it on every single board on LSE but I can if you wish me to... but I think I'll give it a miss on this occasion. The point I wanted to make was that 'nothing is guaranteed' (as you so rightly stated in your post) but that many people get very disappointed and disheartened when a share price refuses to rise or even drops. The way some people write on the BBs I am sometimes concerned for their welfare and would like to hope that the phone number for The Samaritans is close to hand.

I'll say it again, "If you CANNOT afford to lose money you have invested then sell up and stick it in a 'High Interest Deposit account".

Right now I'm prepared to take the chance in my investment choices.

As it is Dydd Gwyl Dewi I will be celebrating with a nice single malt!

...in say 3, 5 and 10 years time where do you (to the BB) where do you think Blockchain Technology, cryptocurrencies, fiat currency and the 'defi' concept will be?

Personally I believe Blockchain Tech is here to stay as there are so many other ways of adapting it to improve current systems (just look at the way we buy and sell property in the UK and think how Blockchain Tech could make this whole process more secure and much quicker).

As for cryptocurrency and Bitcoin... well for obvious and selfish reasons I hope it remains dominant. I don't see why it shouldn't and I can see it becoming some sort of global reserve cryptocurrency (of choice) that all the national cryptocurrencies will be valued against. Possibly also some sort of connection to the value of Gold too... I don't know! As for fiat currency in its present form...whether you or i don't like the thought of it but I think 'long term' the writing is on the wall for physical cash. I would guess that the majority of people under 25 hardly ever use physical cash and even older people are finding it to be very convenient too. Of course this is where it starts to become a bit of a political and moral problem and argument which can raise a few hackles in people!

...and you know what they say about opinions! An investment in a company such as Gstechnologies comes with some large short term risk. If you cannot afford to lose your investment then do not invest in GST. I repeat, "Do NOT invest in GST!" However, if you are prepared to give it at least six months (and preferably eighteen months) then I believe you will see a great increase in the sp. It is not guaranteed of course but I think there is a good chance that will happen.

@Lottohopes - Thank you for your well crafted post at 2258hrs. Your comments about Argo mirror mine but you were able to get it down in a post whereas I could only flash the ideas through my mind! My portfolio is quite heavily weighted with this stock right now and that always makes me nervous. i now i should lighten and spread the load, to diversify a little more BUT i am loathe to sell any Argo right now as i seriously believe that we have only scratched the surface with this company's potential.

i don't like wishing my life away but i'd love to be able to see where Argo will be in 3/4 years. Have i got the patience and nerve to hold? I hope so... I hope we all have.

In the current climate I can only advise to be patient. The news will come and when it does I am confident that we will be rewarded. For me this is a 'speculative investment' - I like the concept and the BoD has a great deal of experience.

Please if you can give it time and hold for the long term for maximum gains. All just my opinion of course and please do your own DD into your decision making.
