I have a couple of points to make regarding this bb and 88 Energy.
1. It seems to me that there appears to be a lot of ‘mind games’ being played out on this board whether it be out and out rampers or de-rampers. There also appears to be simpler, more base human emotions appearing, mostly involving a few of the deadly sins. Leaving aside Sloth, Gluttony and Lust that leaves us with Wrath, Envy, Pride and Greed. On this board we certainly have those four! I get dismayed with the boasters, liars and those people that are so jealous and angry on this board and to be fair it is on most BBs on LSE (certainly the ones that I have experience of). I suppose it is naive of me to expect civility and kindness all the time here. I can understand exuberance from people when a stock is doing well and I realise that some people, especially those that have recently sold or missed out completely get annoyed BUT can’t you just be happy for people when they have a bit of luck in their life? The ‘I told you so!’ gang appear when a stock tanks and they appear to have some glee and joy in their post. Well, I hope it makes them and their ilk happy. They’re obviously happy people to be around and their family have my deepest sympathies.
2. Do some proper digging for your research and go the extra mile to do so. You’ll be surprised at what information and staff working in the local airports, hotels and coffee shops are willing to give away – only takes a telephone call – don’t do it right now as it has just gone 4am in that part of Alaska (might need checking). Don’t take things as gospel though, however, I am fortunate enough to know half a dozen Oil/Gas Engineers who are also happy to give advice re Oil exploration and development. If you know any geologists who work in this sector – even better.
Investing in 88 Energy comes with some risk but it also comes with potential reward. It is up to you to decide where your appetite lies. All the research and enquiries that i have made lead me to the conclusion that there is a significant and financially viable oil find. I may regret this decision in a few days but for the moment I’m going to stay a little longer. If it does go to rat 5h1t then please do let me know that 'I told you so!'
