I wonder what the chances are of pre|CISION delivering different drugs in a very consistent manner? For eg if 6000 and 3996 deliver.. 80% of the warhead, 90% whatever, but virtually the same amount with both; same low level of systemic drug too, and maybe even the 3rd drug the same, it could mean a considerable head start with any subsequent drugs.

They don't retest a syringe (drug delivery mechanism) with every new drug they inject as now know how syringes behave.

Not read up the detail about it but the TV said higher dose reduces the >20 previous doses of radio therapy to 5 high doses, received in a week.

I guess that perhaps illustrates the need to get fairly close to MTD for any medical treatment as (though other aspects may also changed to allow this, such as better targeting the radiotherapy) many men have had 15 or more unnecessary doses (cost to the NHS) and the outcomes have been slightly less positive for them overall.

Robin, JT is almost certainly correct on every point. And if he wasn't, how would mainstream media produce a full story without AVCT's help? Wander around the US looking for the STS patient with the shrunken tumour?

AVCT will push their story when they consider it to be the optimal moment.

It was said yesterday that it'd be better if the story, when it comes out, features a UK resident with improving health and shrinking tumour. Quite possibly. However, a story along the lines of 'Yorkshire pharma company saves US grandma / grandpa / mom of 5 / or even homeless person who never had a break before now', could work pretty well, imo.

Why did you misrepresent that specific part of the interview DTW? He specifically DIDN’t say what you accuse him of. This isn’t perfect transcript but it’s pretty close:

If you look at like Trinity Delta or Stifel, they put the standard kind 10% success, the 10% chance of success on AVA6000, *I think it’s much higher than that* (*my emphasis) based on the, and you know again, specific drug and the fact that, again the fact that it’s a improvement on the current SOC'… 'but' (continues) early stage, cancer 1 in 2 get it, easy to become emotional etc. "I see it as a great opportunity”.

Then you accuse him of being 'thick as mince’.

I haven’t got time to write more right now or probably read your reply (sorry) but seriously, you just tried to undermine a whole interview that was actually very interesting to listen to, cos it didn’t support your personal view which is probably more skewed.

Assuming the person with the shrunken STS is pretty grateful already, and AVCT will know the value of media attention, it must only be a matter of choosing the optimum moment for an interview (even an anonymous one) with the patient.

I'm very much hopeful that DX is a positive for AVCT. I read it that Bein isn't and would like to see the back of DX. Maybe you misunderstood my comments? I started out by saying people were seeking to buy tests in Tesco which was (imo) and good sign for DX income.

I think that's a bit strong but...

Probably no one will be interested in this but who knows. I wrote to a school-gate dad in January (I mentioned his reply here, to much derision) who manages a fund and who I now only occasionally see in person. After the latest good news I wrote to him again, basically ramping the fact that a patient has had shrinkage in tumour etc. and he should take another look.

'Dad' has just replied. He's looked into AVCT but not the latest 'stunning' info, just the accounting figures on Bloomberg as of Sept 22nd. From his point of view only the figures matter and he wasn't particularly impressed. Basically he thinks investors might bet a small amount on a breakthrough but would be unwise to invest a lot.

He is just one person (he's definitely not thick as mince) and may not be at all representative as pharma isn't even his area. Nevertheless, he might not be alone in the way he selects companies to invest in. It could explain the current sp just a little bit.

I think that the people who'll buy them will be people who want to work at home for a few days and need proof for their employer to agree to it. I have no idea how big or small that group of people will be.

The free tests will all have expired soon.

Colleague of my wife tested positive in early late May or early June and then worked from home that week. Wife then caught a cold so tested too, was positive so also took the week off / worked from home. It all depends on circumstances at work, vulnerable relatives etc.

Incidentally, I didn't get any cold symptoms from my wife, I didn't test as I work from home anyway so what was the point, but I did start a bad cough and have had it all summer, June to now. Had an X-ray in August which was clear. I'm pretty sure it must have been a covid thing.

Overheard conversation in big Tesco near me, 30 mins ago:

Customer; "Do you sell covid tests?"

Pharmacist; "Yes, aisle 13"

I know we don't really care but still better to be involved in selling some of those available on the market.
