So far so good Wyn! I broke my no-new-money rule but it seemed necessary, and was glad when you mentioned you’d bought around the same time :-)

Lorna was clearly frustrated yesterday but was set on sorting out the situation. Makes me wonder whether she'll be more inclined to give us regular news on when 'the parts are in the post' etc, which could be almost any day now.

She might not have intended to give news on helium shows when drilling but she'll certainly be delighted to tell us that drilling will recommence as soon as she can do, and why not..

She said they were exhausted. Suggests people were up all night with their heads under the bonnet trying to work out what'd gone wrong.

People whose stop-losses were triggered will be getting back in with the prospect of drilling being resumed in a week or two, unless they decide to walk away.

Would there have been signs (sounds?) of impending mechanical problems before last night? The SP going down so much on Tuesday just seems too uncanny.

People will, presumably, be getting the rig ready for the new parts to be fitted. So not twiddling much to begin with at least..

I wonder if Lorna will fly home now or wait on site? (When my wife works away I do rather dread the prospect of delays in her coming back. Everything falls apart here after 5 days, school uniform planning esp.) I won't take her flying home as a bad sign.

Be a good test to see whether Lorna does what she says she'll do. Could be drilling again in 14 days and they are only 4 or 5 days drilling time to TD.

Let's hope for enough rain for the locals to grow crops and have healthy livestock but not enough to affect HE1 drilling.

Sorry Rik but I just topped up. When they RNS to say the part has arrived, fitted and is being tested, drill re-starts at 7am etc., I suspect SP will be moving up again.

The drill component broke on Wednesday night yet the main sell off of shares was during the day. Now I believe in crystal balls (‘balls’ anyway)

Lost lots nearly a year-to-the-day ago when eve sleep went under ('cos of Putin too, I believe) and hoping to improve my situation with HE1 and another share, and also a number of small holding elsewhere. But everything seems to go down, rarely up.

I did have Yu but sold out after waiting and waiting, at a small loss (got around around £1.45) with the intention of buying back but never got the chance. It's just been over £12 very recently.

Complete novice comment but, here goes; any gas would be under huge pressure wouldn't it? A clue might be a strong wind coming out of the hole when they withdraw the drill? Couple of years ago when I first researched helium I think I read about an accidental early discovery where they didn't know what they had (a gas that didn't burn or smell) so let it all escape over a period of weeks.

As for price sensitive leaks; if someone is in a position to leak sensitive genuine info to people who could make money from it then the same route could be also used to send out incorrect news. It was just a thought and I tend towards believing that Lorna will wish to be in complete control of news until she knows what she's got.

News of some obvious drilling problem would of course emerge as the whole camp would be aware. After last time we might hear sooner rather than later and through the correct channels.

Wyn, I can't see a difference with HL charts on my desktop. Unless they are turning them off by geographic area? RSI currently 32.46 (hourly) on the one week chart.

Zuma Rock is a monolithic outcrop in Nigeria. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zuma_Rock Most likely the poster has chosen the name as it's a local landmark and is also featured on Nigerian bank notes. Not likely to be family of someone working in Tanzania, imo.

As for Lorna visiting a school, as someone else pointed out, would she do that if there was a big problem on site with the drill?

She is a mum and is probably used to meeting kids and having local businesses drop in to school, maybe given talks on careers and business herself to the older pupils, without us knowing!!

She's on site 24 /7. A 10 hour working day allows plenty of time for a trip off the camp and maybe then some paperwork in the evening. There can't be that much for her to do, watching the drill turn.

If I'm typical, I have around 50% bigger holding than I was intending to have at this point. Plan was to sell some at a modest profit and the rest would either go through the roof, or I'd lose. Because the sp has fallen rather than rise towards news people are deciding to sell a portion at a loss knowing that a discovery (with what they've left behind) will more than cover the fairly modest loss now; it just snowballed.

Maybe I'm not typical but that's my best guess.

Yes, it should work with a multitude of drugs (and be a gold mine) BUT if there's also high consistency it could all happen a lot faster than if there's a different level or behaviour of delivery with different war heads.

Would be easier to make contact through HE1 site than go through the process of opening an LSE account and generating doubt from wary posters.
