Crusty, with another company I would normally agree too. But with the SP so depressed right now, would they get a raise away as easily as at 6p. Itumbula is one of the best chances of a discovery (least I hope it is or they should drill elsewhere) so why dilute before the outcome is known, only to fund increasing slim chances of success down the line? It would seem like a raise now is just to keep HE1 in business (and salaries of Directors paid) rather than for them to discover helium in less fertile grounds.

You and Trek know much more than me how these things work but I just wonder if a raise would do anything other than prolong the agony if Itumbula also turned out to be a mixed bag.

Last week Joe said that the crew and their families will make more from the shares (and the sp movements) than their wages. That could be quite an incentive to keep drilling going at all costs; maybe accommodate management's desire to keep costs down as much as possible and complete the current plans within the available cash.

Conspiracy theory of mine; if they are more confident of a discovery at Itumbula (and they might be) they won't raise till the SP reflects the find.

I've got more shares than I had on Friday. Paid too much for some of them this morning (3.9p) but nevertheless, even if there's a raise, I'll be where back where I was, with a drill ahead. Will try to trade a little on the news and on the gaps in the news..

I might have gone back a bit soon but anticipate an interview with LB to steady the ship. Sooner rather than later would be welcome.

And the time is 3hrs ahead in Tanzania so 3pm here was 6pm there on a Friday. Not convinced 6pm Friday is when leaks would emerge.

True story from 1990s.

Acquaintance of mine was a reporter who knew a sports journalist (ABC) who wrote for a national on a particular sport subject. He, ABC, also wrote for a rival paper on the same subject but under a pseudonym, XYZ, so his main contract client wouldn’t know.

One day a letter arrived from a reader who berated his writing; ‘ABC didn’t know the subject, couldn’t write, terrible style, ought to be sacked’ etc.

The punchline of the letter was that the only person who really knew ‘how to write on the subject is XYX’ - who of course was his own pseudonym in the rival rag.

Just enjoy the respite everyone. I doubt any 'ban' is permanent on here.

Put it this way, 'NYsize' and (former) 'Ripley' have made the exact same preposterous accusations and in the same style of writing.

I recall that when Ripley arrived he say he was the same poster at 'Matt Damon' but fancied a change, or something like that.

But how many people would have access to the wireline data? Helium 'shows' have been RNS'd so that wouldn't be news any longer.

And people on site who aren't team players might put out the wrong rumour depending on their own position.

We won't know for sure till it arrives in an RNS I guess.
