My average is a little over 6p. Just a few £100 in value now and not worth the fees to try to trade, if I were much good at trading. So my best hope is of course discovery at Itumbula and a huge rise. But it wouldn't rise to.. 4p; 5p; at 8.01am so keeping a little cash in reserve to add more (on good news) in the hope that I might get a few bags on that portion at least.

You've played it well. I bought at 8p then was in a good profit (till DM had the washout) but didn't do like you, sell some as I should have done.

I think people thought it would be a repeat of the big rise into spud with LB. But it never came; times had changed.

Maybe times have changed again but with all these new shares I see it as less likely.

Overall you're in a massive % profit on HE1. If you lose a bit now that want bother you too much and yes, you may make a bit more (lot's more if they strike helium).

Hi Poor, I have been LTH for a few years. Doubled before the last spud with the intention of getting a free ride by selling half the new great holding at a profit, riding on a pre-spud boost. The boost never came, quite the opposite. And now I'll only ever get back some of what I've put in if Itumbula is a commercial find. People buying today might find that there's no boost. Obviously the upside for them on a commercial find will be amazing but I'm not sure that's why people bought today.

I never used to be interested in the posts on how many billion cubic feet He a find might be but now, the bigger the better.

Or I lose my whole investment, which is actually the most likely outcome.

I think people who bought in today will find they are staying longer than they anticipated (as I did myself having bought in a while back).

I don't see much likelihood of a rise around spud this time. Was there even a much of a rise for the last one? I intended to de-risk with the Tai 3 spud rise but it never came. Hence I'm now completely reliant on a helium strike in January. I suspect that most people will have to ride it out now or sell at a small loss, possibly break-even, if they bought today.

I was also in COPL till earlier today. Certainly my Black Wednesday.

Is it all rests on Itumbula. Just suppose they find free flowing gas, could this multi-bag?

Can't imagine I'll put a penny more in even at much lower sp and if I did put in an extra £300, what would be the point unless it multi-bags.

Better that they drill while we are shareholders than go bust and get bought out of admin and someone else get the helium (if they strike lucky).

I'm in there too. But not so much, especially now.

Tempting as it is to buy more now, at a relatively small cost, one wonders why more funding hasn't already been announced if they are at all close.

And if they aren't at all close?

Regarding the announcement of need for a raise before they'd organised it;

I wonder whether they'd been trying, and failing, to organise funding long before they announced the raise to us.

Then had to announce because the raise news was on the verge of being leaked due to the shear number of talks, hence the nomad said they had to go public.

Clearly they continue to have trouble.

Haven't sold but at a big loss. Can just imagine a sudden reversal in fortune with people 'in the know' making a killing here.

The good news is that no one knows what will happen and mood could change in a heartbeat just after 7am one morning.

Been out all day. Picking stock losers is a lot easier than picking winners isn't it...

We've discussed January weather and had holiday snaps of dry weather in January, so they should be ok. Maybe January isn't the driest month but not the wettest either, and the rig is going to be ready soon, so why not.

(I checked with investor relations and the person who complains they communicate too much is the person who has to write the tweets. Glad to clear that one up at any rate.)

Hi Joe, she defo said that. She said they get people asking for more info / updates but then equally some people say they are communicating too much, so they seek to "get the balance right".

She did say some people accuse them of too much 'updating'. Can't say I've heard any of that criticism on this BB.

When I looked back at the Dec 5th Proactive interview I didn't get the feeling she was script reading. Her eyes wander but only like the rest of us do on a zoom chat.

The questions (are you going to take a pay cut etc. didn't illicit a satisfactory answer but will have been a clear signal to the BOD on investors' feelings.

When he said he'd love to share an update on how the funding negotiations are going it implied he had good news but could easily have been an act for the camera / audience. But when we've been in more optimistic times that would've been seized on (eg "I'd love to tell you what's in the wire-line results but can't yet" would've sent the sp crazy).

Dai, I take your point... Can't recall his exact words. Presumably they would like a bit of extra retail money if they can get it though. We'll know soon enough.

Hi Skippy, that sounds fairly well planned but he said that current shareholders (including retail presumably) would, ideally, be entitled to take part in the placing. How would that be possible if everything is already in place?
