(If this share were RMS in old times / BRH I'd expect good news in the non-to-distant, but it isn't RMS / BRH so who knows)

Just trying to get inside CC's thoughts.. If she'd wanted to buy I suspect she'd have done it along side Tim P's buy. They bought in tandem once before. Why would she wait when obviously (was it obvious?) the price would rise – at least a bit – on his buy. Perhaps she will buy if, in future, it falls back again? Maybe she has options and she'll just buy those (best of both worlds)..

Hi Wyn, hope all's well. Yes CC would be a bit stuck with a bigger holding.. Tim seems hippyish to buy though and he's in the same boat. I'm trying to think why else he would buy (he wouldn't do it to support the SP) other than some confidence in the future. Directors have bought much higher (previous chairman, Paul Pindar, at 10p) so it can happen but we are in a different eve era now. Even Paul Pindar didn't sell and maybe hopes to get his 10p again..
I know you have often said that once a deal's done, you put it behind you. One slight worry I have that people like Paul Pindar have the same attitude and buy eve at 10p, and a bunch of other shares, and aren't too worried about the 10p eve shares, as the others perhaps performed better; just a diversification and odds game to them.
Anyway, I am heartened by Tim P buying a month before the interims :)

I'm not sure how accurate this is (and wouldn't include today's buy by TP) as it's from the first site that I clicked on for Directors' Holdings but Tim P now has rather more than CC.
Would Tim P buy shares if the trading update were going to be bad news? Drop £12,000 down the loo? Obviously he can't predict how the market will react to figures they give out but he must have some confidence that things are going the right way..

Looks like TP's buy* was on Friday (can't see anything that might be CC; yet to come?). Wish I'd had more available when I topped up on Thursday now of course.

Would a Director throw > £12,000 into the share a few weeks before bad results? I seriously doubt that the share will stay this low for long..

My favourite – eve – was at a year low last week but decent sized Director / CFO buy of 400,000 shares at 3p reported this morning.

We flew from home (LHR) from France via Geneva and had the exact same experience as MrST. I took our Day 2 PCR only this morning to the drop off point at local location. We used randoxhealth.com for booking return pcr as they were among cheapest and we got an airline related discount (because BA has a deal) too.
And we took LFTs in just the same way at a French pharmacie which wife and our half-French kids can reclaim but I can’t. Weirdly the person taking the sample was paid separately to the pharmacie which ran the test and that slightly increased the cost.
The main hassle was all the U.K. paperwork you have to complete online. I should think most people will find that a challenge. Good luck!

Y5, it's tricky; some people here have said strongly that CC should have spent more during lockdown (as have rivals) on marketing to 'buy' sales, which is the opposite approach. They did say that they could have posted a profit last time had they chosen to. CC seems to know what she's doing so (and is well placed to see the bigger pic) so I'm happy that they are pushing France myself.

Usually – and for the last couple of years at least – the peak in the rise into any sort of results is on the day of the results, or a double-peak (peak a few days before, and then a mini-retrace before peaking again on results day). Then a fall (whatever the results say).
Last time the peak was actually a few days before the results and then gradual fall into the last three or four days, and then bigger fall on results. It surprised me.
I wonder why the change last time?
