She certainly doesn't overstate the position. When she says something it generally turns out to be true. In fact I don't remember anything she's ever said turning out to be unfulfilled.

The site doesn't seem to be updating messages so writing this to bump what I wrote earlier.
Looking at the TP results (which still have a couple of weeks to run before the TU) – and which many don't take as a particularly good guide – I would guess that revenue for June / July /August / Sept will be up > 10.75% on same months last year.
Would that be enough to get people excited and move the sp?

DJ, I have a screen grab of traffic to the old French site ('old' being evematelas.fr) and in 6 months to December 2020 there were never above 100,000 monthly visits, and only 2 months of the 6 were close to 100K visits (certainly about 95K). There's a precise figure for December 2020 and that's 68.69K visits.
I think it inconceivable that they are below 10K visits per month now. Either we need to wait for the similar web site to detect the traffic, if that's how it works, or perhaps eve will consider linking themselves.

All the mattress companies seem to have 'sales' around the same time; I guess they have to compete with one another. CC was very happy with Black Friday last year and yet products were discounted (presumably sold for a profit as eve's figures improved) for a weekend or more.
If the cost per acquisition is a big issue then I guess they can sell a lot during a promo and still make the same overall profit as when there are full priced transactions which cost more to achieve.
DJ, I'm surprised your 200k buy didn't boost the SP this morning. Still, you should be ok :)

The Options vest from their start date on a straight-line basis over a three-year vesting period in monthly increments, subject to meeting certain performance criteria. Following the grant of the options, Cheryl Nicola Calverley (née Bouton), 40, holds nil ordinary shares in the Company, 204,167 vested unexercised options and 4,295,833 unvested options due to vest over the next 3 years. There is no further information required to be disclosed under Rule 17 or paragraph (g) of Schedule 2 of the AIM Rules for Companies.

I've just written to Investor Relations;
1) asking them if they are experiencing any supply problems.
2) asking if they could link the French similar web up (the similarweb site says the evesleep.fr owner can do that) so that we can see web traffic volume to the french site.
One can but ask!
I did ask customer services a couple of days ago when the Premium Mattress would be back. Auto reply said 'give (them) two days to reply' so maybe tomorrow, day three, will see a reply.

Ci, I composed a reply but it vanished; maybe it will reappear now.
Essentially I just clarified to anyone not following closely that the 40% increase only compares august 2021 with august 2020. One month up is great but still only a single month.
(Also, just mentioned to wyn and anyone else that I popped a small amount into spectris (SXS) even though the RSI shows it overbought. They have a diagnostics type business which may do well long term with the population ageing. )

It's a huge increase; I hope it's real and not a result of a shift in the date of the sales between last year and this. As for where it came from, I wonder if it's genuinely the acceleration to online shopping and so more or permanent and continuing. That would be fab for eve.

Not good for the economy (or families with children, myself included) but we are where we are..
If those similar web / site visit figures paint a true picture then I think eve were overly pessimistic when they predicted H2 being tougher than H1, in the UK.

True about France but if UK site visits figure is up > 40% on last August...
I assume that the 'sale' has helped, and also that they had the sale same time last year but it could have moved I guess.
I also doubt that they'd have had the sale if they were short on stock due to logistics.

For my sins, I just made another top up. Just can't see how increased visits to the eve site couldn't lead to more sales.
Last September eve did get a lot of visits, and TP reviews so whether the increases will continue is another question. The CBD publicity will help and that launch is due to be this month.
