Thanks W, that makes sense. I asked as you made a mention elsewhere about buying if a higher price were reached (13p it was there?), but I see the difference here. I've bought on the dips at eve so interesting that in fact you'd more or less do the same with the proviso that you'd be looking at the chart at the time first.

All theoretical Wyn but is there a trigger price where you would feel compelled to buy more? (I mean higher price going up, not bargain basement if there were a fall)

Unless they've dropped Boots – which seems unlikely..

In fact Wyn, we usually have something around January. We had one 21/01/2021 Eve Sleep plc: Trading Statement (which was announced early December 2019).

And before that perhaps a small Director purchase, due shortly and only if the pattern follows.

Incidentally, last year the Boots promo was announced in the TU equivalent of yesterday's TU. Nothing this year so news on this year's offering must be due very soon as gifts should be on sale in a month or 6 weeks max. This was in last year's TU:

Evening username. We all make our own judgements and I’m aware that people have become jaded with eve in the past. Sorry to hear you’re out but also hope you’ll keep an eye on the board. I’m ahead here so content to wait for what looks like a bright future. I imagine there’ll be news soon on gifts etc to keep eve around today’s levels and then of course, *the next update* - as ever. 2022 Should be profitable; we are closer today than we’ve ever been - assuming it arrives on time.

Friend here has a bad neck and back because of WFH ( in addition to mother-in-law with bad neck). Told her your tales of eve pillows. Maybe another sale soon.

Seems like another day when CC has delivered what she said she would. Cash up which is a bonus. Not much detail on France. Seems to me that she was pleased with the message so kept to the facts which spoke for themselves. Little news on other tie-ups for Xmas, Boots and CBD lines as she didn't want to muddy the waters is my take, and we can / should expect more news there shortly I guess, very shortly. Something to look fwd to for sure. I am content with how TP figures relate to sales; 2nd time TP stats have linked nicely to revenue in the UK.
Last year the Sept TU was on the 15th and CC bought shares on the 22nd, announced on the 24th. So could be that she'll do the same now despite her options.

I will read the book for sure. I'm not certain I'll understand the charts but they could give me a nudge, as I have often looked at overbought / oversold since you mentioned RSI. I have to say I do sometimes ignore RSI as I usually buy and sell smaller amounts – £100s rather than £1000s – and sometimes I think it shouldn't make that much difference – plus the time spent looking for the perfect time has a 'value'.
But anything that helps is worth taking notice of.

I'm slightly envious of people who don't expect much tomorrow as they can't be disappointed, whereas I could be. Last year TP reviews in Sept 2020 = 264
Currently 230, so headed for 330 in September 2021.

All views welcome here Citizen. TU is 7am tomorrow.. If you're quick and read some history, you still have 2.5 hrs before the market closes. Not a ramp, just an observation. And if you aren't convinced and actually do hold, you could sell now too.

You've heard of eve sleep now Citizen, and you probably hadn't a while ago. Recognition is important to eve :)

PS. That TA book wyn, that you talked to Ben about, was quite expensive when I looked a year or so ago. It was in the mid- £30's I seem to remember. I returned to Abe.com yesterday and it's a lot cheaper now so I ordered a copy too (just under £8 inc postage). I hope I ordered the correct one!

I am really interested now, not only in the Eve figures, but also how TP performs in 'predicting' them.

This BB seems to be close to a religion where anyone who doesn't 'believe 100%' in 'the true faith' is a heretic, to be hounded and discredited for their protestant view (based on incontrovertible missed deadlines, mounting empirical evidence – and falling sp). I have never said anything anti-avacta, just posted that I support posters who have proved to be more insightful than most, and that I like to read all views, and yet got told to F/off by speranza, who's probably a perfectly reasonable person in other 'non-religious' areas of his life.
I notice that NDN and Wyn post on a variety of stocks yet most of the people who hound them only post on Avct. Maybe that explains their fervour...
