That's a lot more web traffic to Eve in July '21 than in July '20.
TP numbers up on last year as I've previously posted. From what snippets of info we can find out for ourselves the signs are actually generally positive.

I feel slightly sorry for people who sold after 8pm this morning. If the Directors Buys news had emerged at 7am I imagine they'd have held back a while longer.

Yes, wyn, that makes sense.. In fact I'm slightly underwater now (average of 3.9 I think, though last buy was 2.95). I do have worse performing shares than eve!
With eve, when things go well, my profit / loss moves very fast too. I can see that with a good TU (even if it's January 2022) things will sort themselves out quickly. For me the signs are still positive for eve but others obviously disagree, otherwise the price would not be falling much on any day just three weeks before the TU.

Max, and wasn't it up 9% on Wednesday? Illiquid share which moves a lot on small volumes.

Wyn, I wonder whether (and I am more positive than ever now so completely exclude myself) some people, and I don't mean just this BB, really are giving up to negative thoughts, hence the peak sp was 4 days before the last TU rather than the night before which is more usual. It's as if people have been disappointed so many times that they actually don' believe it'll turn around.

They did cut back the jobs to save cash quite a while ago.
The Investor Relations man (a year ago) told me they hired more customer service people at that time as the buying experience was suffering and they needed more hands on deck, and training takes 3 months so there's a lag. He said that it was due to 'strong demand' in September 2020.
There have been increasing negative reviews (I've only looked at the TP numbers to see that: eg. 16 'Bad' in May and 33 'Bad' in August) so hiring more people to solve the problems would fit though (and thinking negatively for a second – I can manage a second) I guess staff jumping-ship could also fit.
CC has always said she wants customer experience to be great.

Just looking back through the calendar; a year ago tomorrow is the equivalent Thursday anniversary of the surprise 2020 / September 3 RNS saying that sales were ahead of expectations due to lockdown. Be nice if they did the same again, though it's most unlikely.

The headline prices are rarely very accurate which is where dummy trades are helpful. This (3.30p +0.25p +7.94%) is what HL is showing now and is at variance with what LSE are showing.

Last year was 239 in August of course.
For 3 months June/ July / August, TP reviews numbers are 5.5% higher this year compared to 2020.
For me it looks like 'steady-as you-go +', with a modest increase in revenue in the UK when we receive the 23/9 update.
France is the unknown but they predicted better H2 than H1 in the last webinar and TU for France. And the chicken coop advert's a good one.
They've only predicted 'sustainable profit' in 2022, but that could well be fulfilled – IMO.

Really Wyn, you are thinking of going more conservative?! At least you'll have a much quieter bulletin-board life; I can't see you missing PL and Fun Time Swing very much.
Was AIM really an experiment to see if you could come out better with more risky shares? HE1 did turn out more risky than eve.. (so far anyway). RUA doesn't do things dramatically but they seem an honest bunch at the very least. The FDA approval is the gamble there I think.

It's not a great deal of difference is it? If you really think it's that terrible a share you could always sell I guess. I sold RMS at 1.85 and I'm glad I did. With Eve I think things are different but you could be right.
(On the basis that I don't want too many eggs in one basket I didn't put more into eve as I'd pondered but popped a small amount of spare money into RUA this afternoon. I haven't done bags of research on them; I am down a small amount on a previous purchase from 6 months ago but today they had what seems like a good RNS and yet not very much happened. I don't think it was noticed by many. Some people might like to have a read-up on that one.)

So we are up a tad on last year's 'good' summer. Not up a lot, but certainly *not down* either, which arguably might have happened.

So has the advert in France made a difference over the channel? Lets hope so.

As for the CBD sleep products I half expect them to be launched alongside the Christmas PJs and hot water bottle etc. Would they announce them on the 23rd during the update, or launch when they hope to have them ready? Anyone's guess I think. They might announce any day in September but probably before the update, or with the update.

As I have a little more money I could top-up again but I would not want to lose what I've already put into eve! On the other hand the SP always rises into the update so it's tempting..

I occasionally read the Eve BB on ADV_FN. I don't find it terribly interesting but someone has written about the French lockdown due to the vax-pass situation. Poster argued that the current vax-pass lockdown is very oppressive.
I've asked brother-in-law in Paris and he says many people are still going shopping as normal.
However, I do wonder whether French people will shop for mattresses more online, if they need to carry a pass to get into the store, and since the vaccination rate is lower in France, it would mean some people can't legally go into some big shopping centres.
I doubt the situation would harm eve and arguably could be a bit of a boost..
