unfortuantely (misplaced) logic sometimes insists that the share MUST recover .... sometimes it does (BUR and probably EME and VOG) and sometimes it doesn't ...... the ones that do recover are usually the ones which you have sold and vice versa!

MRP - unlike HML (and now GTL by the way), the trading volumes have not become ridiculous, so AT THIS JUNCTURE i am pretty relaxed with sp and its upward movement ...... nevertheless it will certainly be fine and personal judgment to determine when enough is enough and plain greed does not take over.

ENK - i bought some of these at the end of March to lock away - see post 28/3 ..... since then, sp has drifted but suddenly today there has been a surge of 10/12% for no obvious reason - i.e. no visible rns ...... nickel is an important element in the manufacture iof stainless steel, afor which the chinese currently have an insatiable appetite ..... i also suspect but have not checked that nickel along with other commodities is at an (all time?) high ...... a good play

STT - you are right that there is a lot of positive noise from their figures etc, but of perhaps slight concern from a trading point of view is the very low average volumes ...... this may mean lack of general interest, but as NMS is only 500, the implication is that the shares are very tightly held and thus difficult to buy/sell in any volume at all.

GTL - don't know digital look n have enough damn things on my pc screen without adding another! ..... but yes, i too am a published fan of this company/sector and DOO and BFC.

GTL - a brave call to "assume" all the large numbers are purchases .... as i said a little earlier, they could be buys or sells or x-trades

MRP - per my post yesterday, i thoroughly agree there is never any harm done in banking profit .... as it happens, i think MRP has a (little) way to run, though i am unsure how far ...... the aide memoire was purely as a benchmark and not an expected target, or at least not in the (very) immedaite future.

GTL - 58 million shares is about 3% of ISC, but one cannot tell if they are buys or sells or even (unclarified) x-trades .... meanwhile, this slow but gentle rise is very welcome

MRP - all time high was 49/50p in late July '04 just after they launched ...... bear that in mind

BES - movement on sp is glacial if that quick! ...... sometimes these things take a while to kick start .... and sometimes they never start at all even if logic says they should!

JKX - following some excellent recent figures, sp slipped back (about 10% from memory) though without good reason ..... peeps are now waking up to the fact that this is a first class company with an undemanding rating, with steady buying ensuing.

GOC - noticed this company mentioned in today's telegraph but did not read

MRP - another share of which, though i am a fan and have topped up this morning, i am uncertain of the level of "fair value", beyond which one starts getting into fantasy land

your research is (probably) always excellent, but that does not mean there cannot or even should not be dissent with your conclusion, as is the case in every walk of life .... except seemingly yours!

don't use caps by the way ..... the article in Business Week IS new ... the fact that the content is well known to peeps here and/or elsewhere is academic ...... old newspapers have always been best used for fish n chips and lighting fires.
