Hi Cheated,
My understanding is the vacines bus will take the majority of the Debt hit.
From an investor pov, let's hope it is as successful as the S32 split form BHP a few years ago, where you end up with 2 shares from the original one.
I've never been in a share that has done the splits, so fingers crossed this does not end in pain.
It seems we are on a destruction of value course and need something to stop the rot.
Its disgraceful how management have failed to profit from a pandemic.
But they will do just fine whatever happens. thanks to their rediculous pay contracts and share options, while we the PIs pick up the tab.
As someone who is used to picking bad investments, this is another to add to my growing collection.
I am hopeful at least there will be a long term recovery in SP, so will not be crystallising my losses in the forseeable.
The question for all of us stuck here, do we wait and whether the storm or should we bail out and find a better investment.
For me, it is worth holding especially as I have a siginifcant amount invested by my standards (22% of my SIPP), although to many on here it is a tiny amount (esp compared to Drugs losses of 80K etc).
If my investment was much smaller I am sure I would cut and run as I have done many times with other investments. (Eg recently sold BP at 15% loss, after just a couple of weeks with approx 6-7% of my p/f).
We pays our money and takes our choice. No one forces us to buy any share, so no point in getting all wound up when it goes pear shaped, as never here any complaints when it turns out profitably.
Would be nice if posters kept things in perspective and remembered there are no guarantees in investing in shares - it is a risk business !
