I can't see resistance here. Dropped from £4 to 250 in March. In fact 350 last acted at support in mid 2019.
Hope the tea leaves are working to send it back to £4.

Sorry if I not making sense but only just finshed work at 10pm, prob should not bother engaging on here while trying to work.

Point 1 on Bitcoin. In less than 2 hrs bitcon went from 34K to 40K - absolute madness.
Point 2 - Tesla akthough state of the art business - had its owner Elan Musk a few months ago saying the shares were not worth anything like the $400 price at the time. Here we are now at more than double it - I thought he was banned by the SEC from making such sensitive comments on his company ! More madness

Point 3 - If I was mad enough and gambled on Bitcoin (not investing is it) could have been rich, as could anyone who took the gamble on an item that you called "a worthless coin".

It is a mad mad world, when you try to invest in a share like VOD which is a long established business with many assets, solid casfhflow and profit and cannot make a penny while Tesla (a business still in the pram) is valued at 1000 x EPS ??

Oh the joys ....

Broker prices should be taken with the Winsford Salt Mines in mind, and a barge pole big enough to fit accross the River Mersey. I agree with H-hi on this one, but can manage without expletives.
Nice to see VOD have a good day - we need a lot more of these.
Despite todays rise I am still in the red having bought in early December at 132.3p
not sure this was a good choice for me, and maybe should have stayed with BT, but managed to sell that one at the bottom.

Hi Rogue
A number of shares are paying 5% or more in divis. From my own p/f I have:
AV, ASEI, CEY, GSK, HHI, IMB, NG, SUPR, VOD.
Of these I would say IMB, NG and SUPR are as secure as GSK. Thats just my opinion.

There were two directors buys in December - Tant £160K + Bomhard £60K with SP at 1576p
Let's hope for some more to give the SP a bit of shove north.
IMB's last announcment with 2020 results did say Revenue was down effected by Covid, with NGP well behind expectations offset by the traditional fags.
Still looks like a decent value share to me - with secure divi following 2020 cut to 137p, but Mr Market tends to laugh at me.
Something not right with a divi around 8.8% in current interest rate environment. Hopefully the SP will rise to bring down the divi %, but cannot count on it.

Just missed the recent divi, which you needed to own shares at close of business on 16th December to get paid on 5th Feb.
Next divi will be should be paid in August, with the ex div date to be announced around early June.
Would expect a div of 4.5 Eu c, which is approx 4.05p to day, same as last two payouts.
Annual divi would be approx 8.1p = 6.48% approx today.

I lived in Argyle Street South in the mid 90s.
Had some good times at Prenton. Used to get there on the No 11 bus from Wallasey in the 70s.
Best match was League Cup vs Wolves in mid 70s. 1-1 draw.
They had "The Doug" up front with John Richards and Parkes in goal.

Mrs CSDI works on front line for the NHS and got her jab today. All her colleagues want the vaccine asap.
All the professionals she talks to, want the vaccine.
I wonder if its an age thing - youngsters feel they are immune - while us old fogies just want our lives back to as near normal asap

Sounds like great fun. Peter Thompson had retired by the time I started going in about 75/76 season. Heighway was on the wing with Keegan & Tosh up front. Ray Clemence was brilliant when he took over from The Flying Pig in the early 70's. I remember hoping to see Keegan when he signed from Scunny, to play in a preseason friendly at New Brighton, as I lived only about a mile and half from New Brighton, but Keegan never played. That must have been summer of '71 when I was only 8.

I've yet to meet anyone who buys shares who is not interested in making money - it is why everyone is here.
No one buys (or shorts) shares with an intent to lose money.
It is how we all cope with shares that do not meet our expectations, that makes this subject fascinating.

Hi Seaking, Nice to have another Koppite on the forum.
I'm not a proper supporter these days as not been for years - I got put off by Brian Clough's 1979 Notts Forest team keeping 11 players behind the ball when they were losing 2-0 at Anfield, when we ended their 40-odd match unbeaten run.
Only been a hand full of times since then. I was regular in my teens in the middle of the Kop - could not see a thing - but atmosphere was usually incredible. My best match was the St Ettienne QF in March 1977 on our way to win 1st European Cup. Atmosphere was unbelieavble as Kop closed before 5pm for a 7.30pm K-O and thousands locked out trying to scramble in Anfield Rd end. The french support was fantstic and I remember going home on the No 26 bus talking to them in French as my school mate wondered what we talked about !
Would you believe my eldest lad (33 y/o) is LFC supporter and my youngest (19 y/o) is a Man U supporter ! They went together for the 1-1 draw in 2019 at Old Trafford as part of my youngest's 18th birthday present. My eldest has never had to be so quiet (sitting with the Manc supporters).
My best mate is a Toffee and I go to Goodison about 6 times a season to eat their food and drink their beer in the Brian Labone Lounge - courtesy of my mates season ticket ! I would not pay the prices these days.
Was reading about Jimmy Greaves going to the pub with supporters after the match back in the old days. how times have changed. Good luck to the players earning whatever they can, but most have become disjointed from society - I love to see a humble player giving something back to his community - Rashford being the hot topic of the day - good on him - he should have been awarded Sports Personailty - not that spoilt F1 Prima donna !!

Agree if you are LTH with enough funds for both shares.
Surely there is opportunity to profit from variations in valuations.
I am always going to sell GSK if it get above £16, as history repeatedly tells you it will drop back down .... until of course it doesn't which is my type of luck LOL.
For me AZN is high risk investment on P/E ratio basis, but Mr Market says otherwise ... and therefore I will continue to miss out. Last time I bought AZN was back in 2007 or 2008 at about £26 in Jun 2007 and sold in Nov 2008 for 14% profit.
That was in an old SIPP that closed when I got to 55.
Also I am over my median ave of 10% sector weight with GSK already.
choices ... choices ... give me them and I always end up with the dud.
So if you want some advice, follow what I do and then do the opposite if you want to make some money LOL.

It's better to have Liverpool than Sheff Utd at the moment !
Depsite being a LFC supporter, I picked the Sheff Utd share as thought AZN overpriced and GSK undervalued.

Thanks for that. Interesting that AZN SP benefits from projected earnings not yet earned, while GSK gets punished despite earning 50% more than AZN in 2019. No doubt 2020 EPS for GSK will be lower than 2019, and the comparison between to the two just shows how sentiment effects SPs.
Maybe I should just ask the GSK BOD to issue a statement saying we project earnings will be XYZ in 2022, but when the time comes missed proejections ....
AZN seems to be born with a golden tooth, compared to GSK.
Oh the joys of share picking ....
These trends can last a very long time and GSK is very much on the back foot with the markets.
Hopefully the markets will eventually recognise GSK earnings and divis, but in the meantime we will just have to suffer.
