I hope you are right bh but nothing you have outined there has not also been true for a long while now and yet we haven't seen them - I fear that until there is a major change in circumstances this sp will just drift....

I think it is purely around the lack of meaningful news and the resultant uncertainty. I am hanging on in but we are relying on crumbs here. I couldn't criticise LTH who sell up if only to use the money in alternatives where there is some news and more optimistic short term outlook; there will be an opportunity to get back in here over the coming months and possibly, years; there is very little on the short term horizon to keep people's interest.... To get this sp moving it needs to attract a whole new swathe of Institutional Investors and why, oh why, would they be investing now?

I suggest you put in a "limit order" at, say 3.30p and if they get a seller later today you are likely to get filled.....

The most recent extension was announced to enabe the "chinese" developements to be bottomed out; maybe todays RNS can be taken to mean that they have been concluded earlier than originally anticipated....

No, it is purely due to the fact that there was an "automated" trade at 4p earlier in the day and that is what LSE takes as it market indicator (bizarely) as in deed it uses NT trades for the same benchmark... And no it makes no sense and there is no justification for doing so. Check the price in other venues and it wont be 4p - they will have differeent methods of fixing the price.

Can I ask WOTN how long you have beeen a sjareholder of CZA? AS wedneday was your first post on the subject can I take it not long? So can I ask why you decided upon CZA as your next "pump and dump" target?

To all contributors; Has anyone any idea why Goldman Sachs have such a negative viewpoint on RIO? They have been holding a CONVICTION SELL recommendation and a price forecast of 2500 (approx) for a long time - compare that with Deutsche who have a target price of over 4500.... Can anyone explain this?

Beare the chain of events for Shanks last year; a Private equity bidder offers £1.35 per share, when the share price was approximately 91p per share. Shanks and the institutional shareholders hold out for £1.50 the p.e house (Carlyle from memory) conduct due diligence and reduce offer to £1.20p!! Shanks refuse and the next thing you know is the share price is back at 90pence - even now a year later the share price hasn't yet got back to the £1.35 that it reached back then.....
