Yes John if past performance is anyting to go by; though it has drifted into August once or twice.... I am due on hols at that time so if it is late may well not be able to attend. That would be a major disappointment as I would love to tell NR exactly what I think of him and his leadership of our so called "Investment Company". I also have my youngest son's Graduation Ceremony on the 27th so you can be confident it will be that day....

steve at the risk of being repetitive the news flow from Tanzania is a sensitive issue and to avoid upsetting the TPDC, PURA or the Tanznian Govt all news releases are routinely snactioned by the TPDC before release (unless it is required under AEX's LSE reporting requirements). Timing delays that are ostensibly due to the "snails pace" at which these government bodies work but saying so would be like signing our own death warrant.... references to these delays and or to "differences" between the various parties would be totally foolhardy. Hence we suffer in silence. Unfortunate but true and absolutely necessary.

If that is true trim it means that the Dev Li ensemble will have to come before NT3 as NR states that he won't farm sown until after Dev license. There for yet again we will be selling off assets before they reach optimal value.... Anyway must go now. GlA

trrime you know my view on this issue; the lack of development in Tanzania does not and cannot help the sp of either company I agree (if there was sonething to say AEX would say it) but that does NOT explain why Solo is only 15% of AEX Market Cap. That does NOT explain why the market values Solo's assets at half what it values those same assets at AEX..... That is purely down to NR and his seeming lack of business acumen and it unfortunately isnt the first time. That equation below speaks for itself. Spending money that you havent got results in having to sell off assets (or shares) at a knock down price to raise the capital; and that would not have been necessary of he ever learned to control huis spending.

I agree on all counts trrime. Yes, of course, it does depend on what you value HH and only time will tell. NR seems to rate it very highly but, in my view, nothing that the flow rates might provide will get it anywhere near offset the loss of Ruvuma.... It will be the AGM in July and he has three months to get that explanation sorted out. And if those flow rates do not cut the mustard he is in deep shyte.

"(cheap Shares Really)" yes not 'arf.... and NR has just given 14.6% of them away for next to nothing. That is 14.6% of YOUR assets..... in your estimate, not mine, 14.6% of �400 million for �2 million. That is �56 million given away for 5% of HH and some operating capital that we shouldn't really need after the recent $1.5 million drawdown. Thanks Neil; great business.

JD you are making an assumption that those 14% of shares will remain "closely held"; I suspect that they will be back on the market before too long.....

fjones you seem to forget the conversation that was had a few days ago about the fact that Solo have fallen far more relative to AEX over recent months for reasons recently discussed. Solo's market cap ought to be circa 33% of AEX's but is currently only 15% or thereabouts, or roughly half what it should be. I suggested that the sp differential would not exist for ever and maybe the fact that Solo is up and AEX isn't is just a reflection of that...

That's one interpretation. The two 740,000 trades are a back to back transaction - one sale and one buy; which means 1, 038, 541 vs 923,498. But no matter. Have a good weekend all.

They would bloody struggle to sell that lot in one go with the market so "thin"; with less than 1 million being traded daily and half of those being sells it would take them 2 -3 weeks to dump circa 10 million shares imo. Unless of course the HH testing produces a good amount of buying interest and therefore decent rise on the sp.... Let's hope so. :0)
