Yes BG I would agree a lot further forward on many fronts , which can only be good news. The other side of the same coin is, of course, we are now reliant totally on APT for all Ntorya based newsflow .

I think you will find that most of the listed large shareholders are no longer directors Robbie; they have long since departed. So they have no obligation to tell anyone when they are selling, imminent news or not.... not unless they hold more than 3%. Current directors have next to no shares except those awarded as free options.

It isn't the presentation that would make me think that - it would be the short term nature of many "fly by night" shareholders; they haven't got the patience to hang around for the a few weeks let alone an few months.

Symptomatic of over inflated expectations from the rainbow chasers and the P&D merchants perhaps.... as LTH I really don't care and offers another opportunity to top up; the longer it lasts the more I can pick up. :-)

Quite right BF and with no cash in hand, with Operatorship of Ntorya now transferred to APT it begs a reasonable question as to what that "job" now is.....? They are now purely a respondent on Ntorya, awaiting crumbs of information from their betters to cast before their news starved shareholders.

The only thing on their agenda is surely getting in our JV partner for Nyuni / Kiliwani development. Without one and with zero cash in the bank to spend on anything other than Ntorya, the Board cannot even address the Kiliwani agenda.

So what do they do between Monday and Friday, 9 - 5? Not a lot it seems; or at least nothing worthy of reporting to shareholders.

When Albert Einstein came out with the assertion below I am sure he wasn't thinking specifically of Aminex but even so it surely applies:
"The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again, but expecting different results."

Everyone and anyone that has been in Aminex for more than a heartbeat surely knows that if there is an extended spell of inactivity or a news famine the share price always, always, always drifts lower. To expect anything different would surely be an indication of madness? And now we are no longer even in control of our own news-flow.

They will only have to release an RNS if the output that DDDD will be discussing and airing during the SITC Conference is price sensitive. If not then they will not be obliged to release anything - though that is not to say they won't choose to do so. Indeed they might.

That said, looking at the nature of the agenda it is difficult to see how they could discuss the issues outlined without it being considered price sensitive.

If you mean AEX then the answer is 0%

SCIR have a $5m "lending" facility at their disposal and circa $700k of cash on the balance sheet; they should have no oriblem stumping up the necessary cash. Moreover most of the costs are back end loaded; drills usually get paid post drill not in advance. Though that may not stop APT asking for it up front.

BG, you say that on the day of the announcement the sp could jump to 2p. Well surely that would depend on the date of the spud? If that spud date is, say three months away why would people jump in on the back on an announcement? Looking back at the NT2 drill there was very little money ploughed into the sp until the last month before spud date and then, of course, the big ramp up to completion.

I would expect to se something similar and any rise (limited in my view) on the announcement could well fizzle out if the spud date is too far out.

Anticipated Seawolf, unlikely methinks; after 9 extensions?! As far as they knew it could have been 19 and another 12 months. How can you reserve a rig and seismic kit when you cannot offer the contractors a start date? Moreover any previous agreements made would have lapsed in my opinion and for very good reason, any contract signed today would surely come at a much reduced "price"; as you say an awful lot of spare capacity. But, where will that rig currently be located?

Absolutely agree with that CP. Due to the almost unexpected timing of the F/O approval, I suggest that none of the things you mention below (and many others) had been finalised at that time. I suggest that since then APT, as the now operators of the license, have been frantically trying to get these issues resolved but how easy or quickly that is to achieve is anyone's guess, methinks? It is highly unlikely that RA and the AEX board will be anything other than a silent partner in that process and simply awaiting news from the Operator.
