Frank do you really think that SCIR not having the cash to uphold their funding obligations for seismics or drill will actually stop APT going ahead with either? Absolutely not, in my opinion. So whatever SCIR decide to do, (even if they have a choice in the matter) they will have to do it pretty soon.

Yes agreed BG, which proves that KN1 remediation was never a "slam dunk", and was never a sufficiently attractive a prospect to get that JV partner.

In my view the thing to remember is that whether it is still an "if" or, even, a big "if" at the moment the most important point is that it is a definite "when" - it may happen this week or next, this month or next BUT it will happen. I am simply glad that this continued delay has allowed me to significantly increase my holding since the turn of the year. I simply wish I'd had more cash to plow in over that period.

So that put's paid to any fanciful ideas of self funded remediation of KN1 anytime soon...... as I and CP have long been saying, AEX do not have the capital nor the capability

Frank please recognise that the only reason people like Sadaat exist is to earn their ill gotten gains from front running their recommendations.

Frank you should know better than that; I am very rarely downbeat or, conversely, upbeat - I try, as best I can, to be measured and to act as a counterpoint to hyperbole in either direction.

They are drilling in Q4 - "what's not to like?" - well how about the fact that they are not drilling in Q3!? ;0)

Nothing material has changed with today's announcement and certainly not in my view on AEX.

Maybe you recall the old adage Frank - marry in haste and repent at leisure. Best to let the dust settle - RNS's always polarise opinion and reaction yet typically, as today, for little reason; people tend to read in to these release only what they want to see....

Well Phoebus as I have suggested only recently, AEX getting a JV for Kiliwani/ Nyuni was always in my book highly unlikely, any development of Nyuni was years out and involve a huge amount of dev work and, most importantly, Nyuni has ZERO value on the balance sheet and for all of the above reasons. So to my mind is really no loss at all.

As for the delay - see my post below - 2- 3 months for AEX is almost no delay at all ;0)

No BG, no bad news at all in my book - nothing untoward or surprising and a two or three month delay on the CH1 drill is nothing in the world of AEX and Tanzania :0)

Fwiw I also stated that I belived that CH1 would still be drilled this year, despite the seismic delays, though I now note that it is no longer in Q3 and recently suggested that any delay might adversely affect the sp. Moreover some who were ridiculed for saying that the recent capital raise was an indication of CH1 drill delays have been vindicated. I also think that November is likely to become December as all previous NT drills - November is the wet season.

However I do not know which RNS you are reading because the one that I have just read says that any drilling in Kiliwani will depend upon the outcome of 3D seismic and there is no specific mention of KN1 remediation, which you were telling us was likely to be completed this summer on the back of an APT loan....

And BG I that that supports the point that the COS and consequently the commercial viability of KN1 remediation has always been questionable....

Just for your information Sang not too many months ago I was buying small parcels of stock in another AIM listed entity (about 10 parcels of £5k) and only because the market size was so small that my "platform" claimed that they could not execute larger orders. Having completed the orders I was then accused by my "platform" of market manipulation and was threatened with their reporting it to the FCA and LSE....

Mind you GL, they need to get a move on; the worst month for rain in the Ntorya region is May. So only a short window to get that Phase 1 complete. After that they could recommence proceedings in June.

You may remember my saying about 9 months ago that they could afford to delay the initiation of the seismic programme until the end of Q3 and still complete a Q3 drill - they had calaculated for a possible delay in the seismic programme and allowed for sufficient wiggle room. Moreover they will only need to complete the "phase 1" seismics to finalise the positioning of the CH1 drill in advance of the drill and not the complete programme. imo.

So I am not at all worried, yet, about a likely delay in the drill date; moreover I am not at all worried if it were to be delayed until end of 2022, though that would likely have a detrimental short term impact on the sp, of course.

Yes uxm and no doubt you will feel inclined to tell us the same thing about 25 times today.....

Who would have thought it?! When the sp reached 77p only last week that we LTH would get another chance to buy in at below 50p?

As far as I am concerned I hope the shorters have their day and kick the **** out of the sp, as it allows me to continue to top up at bargain basement prices. I have bought yet more already this morning at just over 42p and am as happy as the proverbial pig in ***t :0)
