Lol, the price has been at or above 0.83p since January - so has that been an indicator of imminent news at any point in the last three months?!

So let's be honest about the situation - we don't even know that the seismic programme "proper" has actually started and the only time that the seismic programme might result in a significant sp shift is when the full seismic results are announced, and only then if they show a significant increase in GIIP or confirmation that they are confident of an Oil play; neither of which is guaranteed.....

And yes haggis we may have confirmation of the position of the CH1 drill with the "phase 1" results fairly soon but that is hardly likely to bring about a significant sp move - and they may not even choose to announce it. It is hardly "price sensitive information"

Do you have any evidence of this or is this just total speculation?

Having touched 56p today to close at 48 is hugely disappointing. What may be the reasons? Who knows but it will no doubt come out in the wash. I for one am NOT convinced that our seller has completed their divestment programme nor that the shorters have finished their games. That said an opportunistic intraday 20% may have been too big a temptation to leave on the table for some.

The point being Porks that those of us that have been here long enough will have learned not to put too much store on your expectations on fiture sp movements - "certain bet" or not... ;0)

It seems that there is a bit more momentum on Nasdaq than on AIM - LBPS up another 12% there currently.

But that would not suit their longer term intentions for AEX, after all how else could they get shareholders to fund all the licences, fund the development, take all the risk and then pass 50% of the upside to their conerstone investor for a pittance unless AEX were to remain a Public company?

However now that AEX has (temporarily?) decided to forego any ambition to act as operator on any of our assets is that strategy still valid? No, it isn't as, in future we will never have sufficient "control" of any asset to be able to pass it to anyone; at least not once we have farmed-out our last remaining asset to a third party for yet another pittance.... so we may yet see the day when it does happen.
