It is probably a sign that we will not get an RNS on Monday - though possibly a little early in the day to formulate that conclusion.

Though that would come as no great surprise, personally I am not expecting one for a few weeks yet.

I have become totally dissilusioned with this board 99% heat and very little light. Everyone has taken a position; "convert" or "sceptic" with just a very few in the middle, those that recognise that there are still significant risks and a whole lot yet to be revealed before this becomes the "no-brainer" that most are consistently advocating.

When I initially put my money in here I recognised that is was a "binary" play and still is. Thankfully I am now in for "free" and am happy to continue with this knowing that not much has changed. My view has always been that the potential upside considerably outweighs the obvious downside, if that binary play turns out +ve then those that have skin in the game will do very well, if not the reverse is true.

You pay your money and take your choice - trust your own judgement and take the consequences, the constant bickering on this board achieves nothing. If you need the rampers to provide you with the comfort you need to validate your decision you should not be investing.

So guys, did you use that tick up to "exit"? It seems a lot of people have.... though I cannot blame them - the shares I bought on Tuesday were showing a 25% return when at their peak earlier this morning.

Maybe PoC, maybe - I don;t have the tme now but it woulkd be woirthwhile looking at ARA's 8 well dev programme to see where they intend connecting wells 4 - 8 into that pipeline. The spur they refereed to below that will be completed in 1H 2025 may not support those wells. I would be interested to take a look when I have the time but am about to get on a train.

They will need more wells to accelerate production - just because there is more gas does not mean that it flows any quicker....

There are probably very few f "us" left - the long termers that is everyone else has been bored into submission or given up waiting and moved on. (hence the recent sp performance)

Maybe this will bring them back? Though I think they will probably sit on their hands until the 25 year Dev License is granted and ARA can get drilling again.

Sorry " direct correlation with the GIIP" should have read "any direct correlation with the SP"...

As I have said before, I honestly do not think that the GIIP figure has any direct correlation with the GIIP; let's be honest the previous GIIP figure was sufficient to justify a far higher sp than we have been suffering for years. Ultimately it is not about how much gas you have below ground but far more about how and when you are able to monetise it! The new GIIP figure will make no difference to that equation any time soon. Great if you are thinking of holding AEX for the next 30 years - I am afraid that I won't see that out... ;0)

So I suspect that we might break and hold 1p today but that'll be about it AND if it is not followed up with further news very shortly will be unlikely to hold longer term.

However very very good news - hopefully the first piece of good news amongst many.

But it is Election season and the current incumbents do not want the next Administration to get the plaudits and benefits of success - unless, of course it is themselves; another 5 years in the "chair" would see them take those plaudits and, maybe, the "brown envelopes" too. A new administration would want their own turn at the trough. So I would not be surprised to see this stretched out until the elections are over.

Very true Rojo; that might be true today, though wasn't quite so evident when I first bought into AEX in 2009!! I have Inv trusts in those areas Rojo and yes, by and large they have done well.
