Oh and wonderer, where I totally agree with you is that there is, ostensibly, no obvious reason why this should not happen imminently. But, as I suggested below that could have been said for a long, long while now and yet what has happened? Bugger all. Why? Because somebody, somewhere does not perceive that their interests would be served by it happening..... It will happen when that person or persons' perceptions changes for the better.

But wonderer much that you point to below as reasons to be optimistic for an early "settlement" have been true and in situ for eternity and if not that, then for a very long time. yet, unfortunately, to date have done nothing to influence a prompt resolution of the outstanding issues. No, the truth is that , in Tanzania, things will happen when the powers that be consider it in their interests, whether for personal "gain", party politics or, as is now the case, political leverage in an impending general election. Whatever may or may not happen with the Ruvuma development will now be too late to benefit the current government and therefore may as well be the end of 2025 as the end of 2024....

Well we must surely be 7 months closer now than we were at the start of this process but despite the BoD assertions there is no reason at all to believe it will be this month or next wonderer; you will be telling us in April that "we have been waiting 9 months for the Deve;loment License.... I reckon we will see it soon; this month or next....."

As winalot says , nothing the BoD has predicted in recent year has ever been seen on time. As RogerJolly will attest, they were expecting the GSA and pipeline initiation in October 2023 and look what happened to that.

I seriously hope you are correct wonderer about getting the development license this month or next but there is absolutely no reason to EXPECT it in my view; the timing is totally beyond anyone's control and follows no logical process. If it happens great but it would be inappropriate to raise false hope in my view.

So having filled it wonderer why haven't they raised the price again, lol?!? I'll tell you why wonderer; they dropped the price because they had just taken 3.8 million shares onto their book and they desperately want people to take it off their hands. That is why the subsequent BUYS are being filled at 0.775p NOT at 0.7566; the MM's are taking a margin.

Yes Turbot, I agree that my assumption about further exploration equating to a further drill may be a step too far - and suggested as much. But I think all his focus on a JV being the next event in the He1 diary may prove to be a little premature, even barking up the wrong alley totally; certainly a possibility but far from the "done deal" that everyone seems to be assuming.

Actually I am happy with just about any outcome, JV, Farm-Out, further operational activity if it enhances shareholder value but whichever it is I would like to see it fairly soon and hope that we don't sit here waiting for the CPR for too long as I firmly believe that will be a pre-cursor to any future developments.

So Stas, if your quote below is correct the 20p target was prior to the 70% dilution...?! And before the recent Itumbula drill and outcome - consequently I think it is no longer particularly relevant and needs updating.

I suspect that you are correct about the £4.7m Turbot, unlesss as some have suggested the speed and ease of the Itumbula Drill allowed them to save cash n the drill. And yes Turbot I am very familiar with what LB stated, that is what drew my attention to the statement in the article - they seem to be in conflict with each other.....

Hence, I repeat, it would be good to see some clarification from the BoD.

Note that the report highlighted below states that the Rukwa find will lead to further exploration followed by a feasibility study and only then "exploitation". This suggests to me that the recent raise will be used for another drill (any guess as to where) and that "commercialisation might be some way away....
