"Dragging a tad"? I guess that depends on what you were expecting. Personally if we get news before the end of March or Easter I will be pleasantly surprised.

The $64,000 question is - will the Resolution to return cash to shareholders get passed? If so then this sp looks cheap, if not then it is quite likely to see this back at 0.20p yet again... before it gets delisted for good of course and shareholders get left with no market.

I really have no clue or opinion but if I had been sitting on these for an eternity and had seen 90% of the value eroded I would be inclined to wait and see BUT would I put more in here? Not a hope.

Picked up a few today in fact; though wish I hadn't been out since 10:00 ish this morning I am sure that I could have bought them cheaper - thankfully, still plenty in the war chest ;0)

Or maybe if you were in control of the timelines you could defer the decisions until you had greater certainty? They have just raised £4m plus quid - they are in no hurry.

This is the very "chicken and egg" that Blubay,magicp and I were discussing a week ago - the BoD may well be involved in discussions but until they have modelled the "basin" or reserve (as it is not a typical "basin") they will not know how best to extract the gas or to quantify the value of the reserve. Until that time they will not know what or who they need as a JV partner nor the value of their (our) asset and, for shareholders, it would be totally reckless to negotiate a commercial arrangement with anyone until they know that value of the asset that we have and best strategy to optimise its extraction! Nonsensical in fact.

Particularly as they do NOT have huge equity stakes in it - not until the sp goes over 6p and they can convert their options; only then do they have the "upside" that many of us lth have today.

Like you RJ I am no Oil expert but I have been involved in conversationa about the "microbiology of depleted oil" or tangential conversations in the dim and distant past and, from what I remember, the implication is that the oil that may once have been there has been so transformed by microbial degradation that it no longer is "oil" as you and I might understand it; it is unlikely to "flow" and even if it were to flow unlikely to have the same commercial applications

I wouldn't swear to the above as it was a long time ago and I am far from being an oil scientist! but I will see what I can dig up on the matter.

But RJ and CP Lorna states in the interview that they have Flow Rates and pressure data - but evidently have chosen to withhold those figures; whilst releasing the 4.7% statistic which, by itself and in isolation, is not particularly illuminating. I believe there is a lot to be very optimistic about but also believe (for reasons expressed yesterday) that there is quite a bit to do yet and that may include another drill to test the basin / reserve model that they develop over coming weeks.

Exactly the questions and issues we were alluding to yesterday Blubay, yes? As I suggested then the headline, overly simplistic reference to 4.7% Helium flows to the surface, in and of itself really doesn't mean that much - without supporting information.

Oh and 5085 you say "I suspect that it will cost me quire a few quid but ho hum it was ever thus."

I wouldn't worry too much 5085, there will be a few opportunities yet before "lift off"..... ;0)

So some of the few comments posted on the above support the various issues that Blubay, magicpuppy and I were discussing yesterday and which got so roundly dismissed - but here are a handful of other people (who are in the business) expressing the same thoughts as were being discussed here only yesterday.

Namely the requirement for modelling the reserve so as to be able to determine the approach to commercialisation etc...

Hurrah roger65, someone else with a measure of realism and common sense.... but then most here are not interested in the longer term but are simply ramping the 5hIt out of it for a short term 10%.

And whilst we do have the proceeds of the recent raise that would be insufficient if we decided to validate any new resource model with a subsequent drill and as I said earlier I would rather they did that before entering into a JV or similar - it would give us greater knowledge for any negotiations.
