Shipwrecksheep you have divided the number of shares into the Market Cap - but in my view you should divide the number of shares into the MC + the cap raised = circa £48m. 48 million / 5.3bn shares therefore the post placement price should be circa 0.9p. Which, last night, was the figure that I suggested we would see.

Barno, the £8m is no surprise and is not the real issue here think - most people had predicted a raise of this scale. To most people the issue is the size of the discount - a discount that existing shareholders - at least small retail shareholders - will not be able to access. And most of those 1.6bn shares will come back to the market at a profit whilst undercutting the current share price for existing holders. BoD will get cheap shares, existing institutional shareholders will get cheap shares and new II's will get cheap shares but very few of those shares will get held long term.

How low will this sp fall once the shares come back to the market? A moot point but 1.6 bn shares will takle some absorbing - an dit will be the retail shareholders that will mop most of it up. Though to do so the BoD and their PR merchants will need to drum up a whole host of razamatazz around the sp over coming weeks otherwise RI's will be bottom fishing at 05p in a few weeks.

Personally I do not think it will fall anything like that low.

So I would agree joe80 and that means no appraisal well or Tai3 extension for 12 months as the RNS states that this £8 funds the company for 12mths.

Read the RNS, the information is usually there if you can only see what you need to see and not what you want to see....

Many people posting here have predicted a "pre EWT" capital raise ever since the February RNS, which to those that weren't only reading what they wanted to see, pretty much predicted that we would need another raise to complete the forward operational plan. None of that had anything to do with the need or otherwise of a Lab report - indeed many here had never been expecting one. We needed an EWT and that needed funding and many here had been singing that same tune from the rooftops for months; it was only the blind and the blinkered that continued to deny it.

Having said all that £8m dilution of a £40m MC is a far more manageable one than the £5.8m with a MC of circa £7m - I would expect the sp to settle at about 0.90p.

No Rj not that simply, as was discussed a couple of weeks ago, no news is never good news for the sp. Weeks of waiting means the inevitable slide. However only a week or so 'til the AGM with presentation, clarity on any number of "questions" (Terms of GSA, terms for condensate, TPDC back-in rights, rig and rig contract, CH1 Spud date, CPR & P1 versus P2 conditionality and, for me, all sorts around Kiliwani and licensing. Oh and, of course, for the hyper excitable crew, the OIL in them thar hills!!).

No panic Rojo, a platform for the next rise now set; could we see 1.5p? Yes, maybe, but I doubt it, 1.75p should be about it.

Sharebel the company themselves have stated that they will not be progressing JV talks until AFTER EWT..... so NO there will be no news of the JV partner this week or any other week until way into Q3.

Having held in a narrow range of 1.25 - 1.40 for many weeks the sp seems to be finding a new level. Maybe that 1.15/16 suggestion will be with us sooner than you thought? I would be more inclined to put it on at 1.10p.

I doubt that the Noble Investor webinar will offer any insights whatsoever on He1's direction of travel. The Noble presentation will simply be an attempt to stimulate their flacid project into life after a disastrous funding round. The Noble project is more style than substance, and looks more and more desperate by the week. I wouldn't put any store in anything they have to say.

Goldwater I suggest that it is YOU that are making things up. The RNS states that they "will be" sent for lab tests - note the words "WILL BE" - have you got it now?? And they have never since confirmed that they have been!! So until they tell us they have been sent I will assume they have not been. Because they have no reason to send them off until after the EWT.
