So LBview, in your opinion Donald's statement "Congratulations on finding COMMERCIAL levels of Helium AND Hydrogen" is sufficient corroboration that Itumbula is "commercial". Well excuse me if I beg to differ. Not even words to come out of a He1 Director!

So let me quote something that actually came out of the mouth of LB herself "the purpose of the Extended Well Test is to ultimately prove up the Commerciality of the prospect and the project..."

And in response to the question what is the EWT for Lorna "the main focus is to effectively demonstrate commerciality" .... "it will enable us to determine longer term flow rates, prove up commerciality, also evaluate Helium concentrations and ultimately reservoir/ fracture performance"

So LBview whilst you might be technically correct a third party, unconnected to the project and knowing nothing about it, makes an unofficial comment about Itumbula's commerciality our own CEO says that we need the EWT to confirm it....

So forgive me please LBview if I choose to take my own CEO's version of events and not some hack journo's interpretation.

However that is a different conversation entirely to the placing shares crashing the sp by flooding the market an d to suggest that the sp hasn't risen enough to tempt them into selling just does not stack up as far as I am concerned. If they thought it was just a dead cat bounce those same sellers would be biting the MM's arms off for 25%....! If, of course, there are any left? Fwiw I think there are still some left but they will be and are drifting them out slowly, whilst attempting NOT to affect the price - they would rather continue to take the 25%.

What, you mean we haven't already seen one?! The sp is up 25% Pompey...! Moreover even if it does rise further the sellers will not want to crash the price - they will drift the shares out gradually. If you believe that 0.64p is insufficient a price for them to sell now do you really expect us to also believe that they will be selling them all the way back down to 0.5p?

And PM is telling us that he called it 100% correct - well actually not a bit of it, where is the price crash due to a the admission of 1.61bn shares?! It hasn;t materialised. He also tells us that the sp will be back down to 0.5 as soon as the "insiders" sell their 0.5p placing shares - well no, actually, because they will not sell them unless there is sufficient margin for them to do so - they will not want to crash their own golden goose. Hence those placing shares will come back to the market gradually; they might well keep a lid on the price for a few days but not for ever.

But none of us are here "for the day" AT, we are all here for the EWT and, some, beyond....

The sp ticked down yesterday on the basis that some were scared off holding on the basis of the uncertainty of the admission of the 1.61bn shares to market today; many of the scaremongers were predicting a huge correction in the price as a consequence - many others, including me, though otherwise, the admission was already discounted in the sp and hence the market cap.

That uncertainty has now been removed and there is little to stop the sp rising now - apart from any outstanding placing shares of which I am sure there are still some but by no means the lion's share of that 1.61bn

No Pompey the 1.6bn new shares have already "dropped" but LSE has not yet updated its data to reflect that. Good try but no banana......

Yes, I too would be interested to see that LBview. Even on the most recent interview, earlier this week, Lorna herself stated that the Company would need the EWT to be able to confirm Itumbula as "commercial"..... and that of course depends on a successful outcome for that EWT.

I would agree, I don't think this will fly for a few days yet. In my view there are still shares to come back to the market from the placing but, equally, I do not think that this will get back even close to the placing price as many were predicting.
