Oh and of course the CH! drill should go some way, if not the whole way, to adding weight to the notion of GIIP of 8TCF for the Ntorya basin. So maybe worth waiting for the upper figure?

The question, for me, is whether the CPR is or was anticipated to include the CH1 drill results or not? It was "commissioned" at a time when the CH1 drill was expected to be a lot sooner than it has proven to be (yet even to get a date) so has that had a bearing on what we haven't yet seen the results? If not then why haven't we seen it before now? Maybe without the CH1 results there is little worth publishing, the 3.45TCF is contingent on the CH1 results for confirmation? Can't claim to know but it is a little frustrating.

AGM in a few weeks so not long to wait to get many questions answered.

I think that is a very fair assessment Carrot and not too dissimilar to my own. Though of course the 0.10p minimum will be hugely dependent on the final figure for the flow rates and to get that 0.10p figure I think we would have to see the equivalent of at least 250BOPD

Having been out all day since late morning I have come home to seethe closing price (though no trades that I can see below 1.70p) and yes ROJO, I must admit that I am disappointed with that.

Many I am sure were looking at the Dev License approval as their short term exit point (as suggested only yesterday) but I was somewhat expecting it to be the risk reducing catalyst that prompted more to buy than leave. Maybe that will come over coming days and weeks. Though that would be greatly assisted by news on Rig Contract and Spud date for CH1, I am sure.

Anyway ladies and gents I wish you all (including 91joyo and prosciutto) a wonderful weekend - let's hope next week offers as much good news as this.

I am sure it will Gasboy but probably not in my lifetime. It will take 5 years plus to develope Ntortya before they even get to appraise those areas inside the Development license but outside of Ntorya; they have 5 years to drill one exploration well (which will include those blocks outside of the Ntorya Basin). Their immediate focus will be on monetising the asset in Ntorya and only then the additional 4 blocks outside of Ntorya. They have 25 years to do so and that only in the current development scope.

Disappointing for you Rojo and 91joyo perhaps? I am in no way disappointed. Nothing goes up in a straight line.

Yes potentially PoC you may be right BUT we don't know that and nor has that area been appraised. We do not know what area those 4 new blocks cover, whether it is the whole of the wider Mtwara License area or just those parts adjacent to Ntorya and appropriate for inclusion in the Development License. I do not believe that is clear, which is why I suggested that I would be asking the question at the AGM.

But Ufufuo, just watch out, you can bet that mctripe will be teliing us all that the valuation ought to include the value of the 16TCF for the whole of the Mtwara License area and the "new" blocks now included under the Development License. Despite, of course, the fact that none of the area outside NT1 and NT2 has yet been appraised and that the "new" blocks are in fact included in the 16TCF as they are already part of the Mtwara Exploration area.

And, just my view (tbc at AGM) it is likely to take more than just the CH1 drill to prove up the sand layers theory - for which, in effect, CH1 is an exploration well in the same way that the Jurassic target would have been - these layers have never been targeted before. Though I would fully agree that CH! will go a long way to testing the "theory".

It has been approaching 8 years since the much vaunted "back to back" drilling of NT2 & NT3 - with NT3 drill now only a matter of months away, I certainly won't be bailing out any time soon.
