I agree, this ought to trigger a change in sentiment with the market now expecting progress to be made in a timely and efficient manner and in a relatively short timescale. That might give the sp a bit of an uplift in the short term BUT any uplift is likely only to be maintained if Selan can be seen to deliver on Roland's promises....
I was a little disappointed that in the interview Roland was still more than a little guarded about definitive short term timescales for the workover of the initial three wells; none of us are any the wiser about when we can look forward to some new operational activity.
A question that he was not asked and I cannot seem to find an answer to - do we know what the expectations for the outcome of the workovers is expecting to yield? What is the potential uplift in production from these workovers? Now tat we have our interests diluted by the farm -out how much better off, if at all, will SYN and shareholders be after (successful) completion of the work programme? Or are we working on vague assumptions?
