Why is the RNS to announce the incoming $2.5m going to make any difference? Everyone knows it is coming. The RNS that'll make a difference is the inevitable Operational Update that will follow today's announcement. We have been waiting 5+months for today's announcement to kick this project off and I am sure that the JV partners will have a project plan ready to kick off - the only impediment will be the fact that until the GOI approval they cannot sign any definitive contracts for drilling and support services. Hopefully though they will all be there prepared and agreed in the background awaiting sign-off.

Pedantic I know and it cannot be argued that the "market" says that we finished "blue" today BUT te reality is that but for that after hours UT trade the closing spread would have been 1.34 - 1.37p on Friday - the mid price being 1.355p. Exactly the same as we finished today.

More pertinent perhaps is the VWAP which, as Tillywhiz tells us is 1.36p compared to 1.33p (earlier in the day anyway).

Do we need some news to get this moving again? Probably, in my view, as most of those that have bought in for the EWT are already "loaded".... the question is will the weak willed hang in there for the outcome?

I would largely agree "reserved" JAT is in an fairly embryonic state; many possibilities but those many possibilities need funding to bring them to fruition. I now have experience of literally dozens of similarly placed companies though, typically, they have at best one, or occasionally two, prime targets but even these have sometimes been beyond the BoD to adequately fund without considerable dilution. Now I know that Jay is not typical in this regard but maybe are "spinning too many plates". Might this become a distraction? Where do they focus to monetise their options?

I have already dipped my toe in the water because I think there are some exciting prospects here but won't fully commit until the BoD provide investors with a development plan that explains their rationale on how they expect develope and monetise these assets. I am expecting there to be multiple cash calls to finance this monetisation and am consequently keeping most of my "powder dry" so as to keep myself in for the long term.

Well if the opening spread is 1.34 - 1.37, the same as the closing spread then it will immediately open UP on Monday. Closing price pulled down by that closing UT trade - never understood the rationale of making a UT the closing price but hey ho.

My holdings with II and they have a closing price of 1.324p ?!?! Is there a UT that I have missed? And one significantly below the closing Bid price?

Not so sure - there will be a few traders taking their profit between here and 1.50p - already seen a bit of a slide on that profit taking. Also Friday and many traders will not want to hold over a weekend.

The outstanding items were for EWT I believe not Spud - But will they spud if they cannot follow it up immediately with EWT? A moot point methinks. I doubt they would want any downtime between the first and the second. So MMFoder the outcome may be the same in any event.

Blowdog she stated that EWT would take 4 - 6 weeks from initiation not from the date of the presentation. However the conclusions around timing don't change.

Daven, we know that LB has stated that EWT will take between 4 - 6 weeks. We also know that before they can begin the EWT they have to complete the well deepening by another 150 metres . She has also stated that they expect to get the MIning License sent off at the end of August. So to hit that end of August target they will need to get the well deepening completed by the end of next week at the latest. If you assume it will take 3 days to drill another 150 metres, that means the spud will have to be Tuesday at the very latest and TD reached by Friday.

I have had an order in for SCLP all morning and it remains still unfilled.

Well the LSE may be able to continue to offer trading BUT not all of the MM's are able to make a market - for one of the stocks I own, SCLP, of the usual 9 MM's "trading" this stock, 6 are not operational this morning; meaning that there is bugger all liquidity and, consequently, minimal trading.

Yes and I have just tried buying another 4million and had to do it in three small chunks - so there ain't much stock out there. So why the lowly BID?

However Pubcrawl, as I stated earlier, LSE always takes the MID price NOT the last traded price as their "benchmark". Which makes total sense.

Interactive Investor states that today's highest trade price was 1.37 - indeed 1.37p was (also) the last trade.
