Yes but when it "lands" is determined by when, in advance if the next "publication", it is submitted. The time lag always used to be within two hours if the market was open when submitted though not sure if that has changed recently. So, assuming it to be the same, to hit the 3:00 pm publication it would have to be submitted between 10:00am - 1:00pm on Thursday.

FWIW I agree with GL. I do not think ARA have any intention of buying out AEX, though that assumes that AEX have an appetite to continue with a forward strategy that involves their being an "Operator" of O&G assets in East Africa. There is very little value in AEX simply being an investor in future assets; ARA may as well "invest" themselves. Ntorya proves the model - ARA have 29% of AEX (since 2017) who, with their shareholders, have over many years and even prior to the Fram-Out have taken 70+% of the risk, 70+% of the exploration and development costs (TPDC aside) and then once the asset has been largely proven, the risk hugely reduced sell the asset to their "cornerstone investor" for a song.....

Why would ARA want to kill the goose that laid the Golden Egg? There could be many more Ntoryas for ARA if AEX can make it through to production and beyond and can then expand beyond Ntorya/Ruvuma and into other territories.

Just for your information TOC, I only post on Boards of shares that I have a shareholding in.

4 - 6 weeks was the timeframe referred to by LB in recent interviews and, as far as we know, we haven't yet spudded. So using the outside of that 4 - 6 weeks timeframe we are looking the end of August / early September. And every week that passes without spudding that anticipated date will move back further.

So yes Craig you may be right, August is a possibility but I prefer to assume that if a 4 - 6 week timeframe is given it will be the latter part of the range - past experience and a desire not to be disappointed Craig, nothing else; certainly no hidden agenda.

The irony confluence is that we already "know" the "short term" news - SPUD, TD, EWT initiation and, assuming no mishaps, EWT results in early September. Perverse that it needs someone to pull the trigger on Starting Gun to get this moving. It begs the question of whether we will need to see those EWT results before the sp really starts to move again? What else is there that is not already known and understood?!

90+% of posters on this board are AEX shareholders and many have been for years (or in your and my case decades!) and most of those have both a belief and, it must be said, a self-interest in banging the drum for the shares they hold. The risk is therefore that this BB and others cease to be a "discussion board" any longer and descend into being nothing more than a "Fan Club".....

In my view it is important for there always to be a counterpoint to the often one sided and selective interpretation and statements of the "converted".... Not least because nothing is always 100% positive when investing, particularly when talking about small O&G companies, with no income and operating in a Primary economy.

AEX offers great potential and is now a lot lower risk than it used to be, but nothing is yet a "done deal". And I say that as an investor in AEX for 15 years.

And the additional shares needed to buy a stake in WF will of course be not an insignificant increase in issued share capital.

Same on Interactive Investor too but with an offer for similar amount (200,000) of 1.215p. Only offered 1.195p for 1,000,000. MM's defensive? Hence wide spread.

And, should it happen, with a Market Cap of £1.26m and assets (intangible assets at that) of £1.72m what is the potential upside for shareholders on the current? At face value, not a lot. What value tax losses and an AIM listing?
