It seems there must have been a UT trade at 1.01p (below the closing BID) which is slightly disappointing but still gives us a close above 1.0p and that is the important thing. A solid base for the next leg up.

Moreover Blubay there would be absolutely no reason for funds unless they were looking to develop production and off-take facilities for Rukwa and that would first require a Mining License, so, even if there were to be a raise in the near term (not Q1) it would be done a far higher sp / market cap than we have today.

Only minutes to go to the close and currently bid is at 1.0p, mid price 1.015p. It would be very good news to close above the 1.0p watermark......

Personally McNol I do not think that the whole of Galactica is priced in BUT I do not think that individual drills would justify 20% rises (that would stick anyway) none of them individually will "move the dial" - in my view the gamechanger from Galactica will be once He1 can announce that they have achieved production and have a natural income (reinvested or not).

Agreed RJ and one thing you can rely one, as has been seen many a time at "you know where", is that before the official announcement is released those Tanzanians that are "in the know" will have filled their nominee "boots" - maybe today? More tomorrow?

Actually to be fair to Liam vtr, it seems that he wasn't "promoting" the reddit rumour, he was simply questioning whether today's rise was caused by one.... Somewhat sardonically methinks.

Let's hope not but, honestly, not sure that a fully co-ordinated P&D could have triggered today's rise. I suppose we will find out over the next 48-72 hours.

To add to that they did say (please excuse the paraphrasing) that the funding for Rukwa would require a combination of funding sources, including Debt, JV and equity (which would be kept to an absolute minimum) all of which the BoD were pursuing and had been engaged in conversations about. And to stress, BB is absolutely right, before any further cash could be sought through the issuing of more equity, the BoD would have to go back to shareholders.

Oh and just to clarify, I would love this rise to be off the back of the Galactica drill programme initiation as that would allow for an yet even bigger rise for the ML approval..... it just doesn't seem all that likely to me.

I think you might be right in that regard Zoffy though even at 1.5p I think was extra mileage in it. The difference being that, due to the delay in the originally expected 3 month wait we have now been hanging on for another two months and the sp has slipped by 0.7p in the meantime - a bit like a spud date if that wait was now very soon to be over and approval granted that decline would very quickly be reversed.

FWIW and as others have alluded, I think it likely that today's rise has nothing to do with a Galactica "leak" (there is no leak - drilling this week is already in the public domain) and too pronounced to be FOMO on the first Galactica drill, so whilst I will reserve judgement until the day's end to see the day's closing volumes, I do think this might be more to do with a "leak" of the ML approval and very little to do with Galactica. Would a relatively small beer drill of the scale of that first Galactica drill prompt trades of 250m (and counting)?
