I could not disagree more Equi;librium; firstly they it is highly unlikely that they would get an answer, secondly the ministry would take exception at being asked (or, as they would see it, being chased), even then, if they got an answer they would not be allowed to circulate it; and finally if all of the above were not true, it would still do the BoD absolutely no good whatsoever because, as sure as eggs is eggs, any date given them by the ministry would not be met in any event and all the BoD would have achieved is to wind up the shareholders even more by raising false expectations.

So, in short, totally counter productive.

No gordon, if you read my fist post of the day you would see that I referred to exactly that earlier on (see below) - however I am presuming that is a temporary situation (even though I would prefer to see it become permanent!).

However it was a drain on cash and eroded shareholder value long before Harbour Energy exited and, assuming we find a replacement Farm-In partner will continue to do so until we ditch it like the dead duck that it is.

And another important question - why all those recent Institutional Investor SELLS?

Yes, I have similar thoughts Gordon; if the 420m was cash and if we were £8m etc, etcv the reality is that we do NOT haved cash we have carryu and that carry is guaranteed to be spent, so at some future point it will ALL be gone; that is not in doubt. What is in doubt it was that $20m "investment" will return to shareholders and, right now £1m per month seems a very long way away and even then will be declining almost from the day it starts.

Add to that the commitment to spending on a far from proven Medway CCS project and all that shareholders and potential new investors are left with is a whole host of uncertainty, a long time to go yet before that uncertainty will be mitigated and no guarantee that even when we have certainty, what that certainty will be - good or bad.

I cannot see what the BoD can realistically update us on regarding Rukwa until we have the ML approval. Anything that may be "in-train" will be contingent on that being in place and unlikely to be progressed until that bridge is crossed, I suggest. The only possible exception is the "CPR" which could well be pursued in parallel; indeed a CPR may be as much of a precursor to ongoing progress as the ML itself.

Until either or both of these are signed sealed and delivered what might they possible be able to tell us? Not a lot, I would have thought. And until the BoD has these, such things as an updated Gant Chart would be somewhat pointless.

I would agree with gogs I suspect it will be Wednesday or more likely Thursday before we will hear that the drill is turning so I will not be raising my expectations before then.

So sorry, gordon I would be inclined to "sit on my hands" - I cannot see this RNS being well received, certainly nothing +ve.

Gordon, agree in part but I certainly hope that they manage to achieve more from the remaining workovers - so far 0 from 2 attempts does not offer much confidence.

At least the Medway news offers hope that there won't be another cash raise until the workovers and new drills have been completed. So maybe we will see some upward movement of the sp - assuming the up and coming drills and workovers are better executed than the two so far.

Excuse me, indeed if I read it correctly, they have failed to achieve anything at all so far; C70 now producing nothing at all and C63 as yet failed to achieve anything positive.

Good news? No news. Simply a restatement and clarification of an already announced drill programme and confirmation that nothing has yet started; disappointing😡

And which schemes did they retain their support for? Those with Government funding. Had Medway been one of those maybe they would have kept with it but without it what realistic chance is there of this project going full-term? Bugger all!! They should drop it like the hot potato it is - a cash drain that does nothing but to create uncertainty about the project itself and SYN as a group - it will forever be a millstone around the SP's neck and drain on shareholder value.

Listening to the Today programme this morning it appears that whilst the Govt claim that CCS is vital to achieve its Net Zero ambitions by 2030, industry experts believe that the technology is unproven, uneconomic and so far into the dim and distant future as to be a pipe dream. The sooner Roland ditches the Medway CCS project the better - will prove to be money down the drain and I cannot see them getting a replacement Farm-In partner for the project anytime soon - particularly as it is without any Govt funding.

Oh and look another downward movement. Deep joy - even 0.08p is getting further away....
